  Air Bag Control Unit Reprogram Voluntary Service Campaign UPDATE October 6, 2017 The announcement from August 15, 2017 has been revised to include: - Claims information for unintended airbag deployment (related to campaign) Temporary suspension of this campaign on all affected 2004-2006 model year vehicles is still in affect - Nissan is aware of reprogramming concerns on 2004-2006 models subject to P7318 Air Bag Control Unit Reprogramming and is working diligently with the supplier to provide a solution. - In the interim, Nissan recommends dealers suspend reprogramming activity on all 2004-2006 models until a software remedy is available. These models will continue to be identified in Service Comm and DBS National Service History with an open P7318 campaign. Nissan will provide an update as soon as revised software is available. Please discard previous versions of this bulletin

  Rear Hook Bracket Voluntary Service Campaign ***** Campaign Summary***** Nissan is committed to customer satisfaction. Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign to inspect and, if necessary, install right and left hand rear hook brackets in certain 2017 Titan vehicles. Due to a manufacturing issue, certain Titan (A61) light duty trim level vehicles not equipped with a rear hitch member may be missing the right and left hand rear hook brackets. As a result, vehicles in the affected population may not have been built to design intention. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History ? Open Campaigns I.D. PC574. - Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information 2. Dealers are requested to repair any affected vehicles in dealer new or pre-owned inventory to ensure customer satisfaction. 3. Dealers should use NTB17-099 to inspect and, if necessary, install rear hook brackets on any vehicles subject to this campaign. 4. Once repaired, dealers should submit the claim, using the claims coding provided, and release the vehicle.

  VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN 2017 TITAN REAR HOOK BRACKETS INTRODUCTION Nissan is conducting this voluntary service campaign on certain specific 2017 Titan vehicles to inspect and install (as needed) rear hook brackets. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification number PC574 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communications and documentation of any nature dealing with this Campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY It is the dealer's responsibility to check Service COMM or Dealer Business Systems (DBS) National Service History for the campaign status on each vehicle falling within the range of this voluntary safety recall which for any reason enters the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners and vehicles in a dealer's inventory. Federal law requires that new vehicles in dealer inventory which are the subject of a safety recall must be corrected prior to sale. Failure to do so can result in civil penalties by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. While federal law applies only to new vehicles, Nissan strongly encourages dealers to correct any used vehicles in their inventory before they are retailed.

  NISSAN; DTC P0456 CAUSED BY EVAP LEAK AT VENT CONTROL VALVE O-RING IF YOU CONFIRM The MIL is ON in an APPLIED VEHICLE with DTC P0456 (EVAP VERY SML LEAK) AND - DTC P0456 is not caused by a loose fuel fill cap (refer to NTB13-097). - An EVAP leak has been detected where the vent control valve mounts to the canister. - The vent control valve O-ring seal is determined to be the cause. ACTION 1. DO NOT REPLACE the vent control valve. 2. Replace the vent control valve O-ring seal (O-ring). - Refer to SERVICE PROCEDURE on page 2.

Due to a manufacturing issue that has since been corrected, the welds between the mating materials on the side rails of the Titan truck bed may not meet Nissan design specifications. In extreme conditions, deformation to the bed could occur. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm I.D. PC577 - New vehicles in dealer inventory can be also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). o Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information 2. Dealers are requested to repair any affected vehicles in dealer new or pre-owned inventory to ensure customer satisfaction. 3.
