SummaryEngine Control Module (ECM) Reprogram California Voluntary Emissions Service Campaign ***** Campaign Summary***** Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Emissions Service Campaign on approximately 104,221 specific Nissan vehicles identified in Service Comm and currently registered to owners in the state of California to reprogram the Engine Control Module (ECM) in the event that a permanent diagnostic trouble code (P-DTC) for P0448, P0101, P2008, or P0087 is recorded in the ECM. Due to calibration errors on the affected vehicles, the ECM may improperly store a permanent diagnostic trouble code (P-DTC) even though the emissions on-board diagnostic system is functioning properly. As of July 1, 2019 the State of California has implemented a revised Inspection Maintenance (I/M) or âSmog Checkâ test program. Without the software update, the subject vehicles may not pass this Smog Check test in those areas of California where such testing is required under state law. This incident has no effect on the safety, performance, drivability, or fuel consumption of the applicable vehicles. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Emissions Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaigns I.D. ï· P9328 â Affected Model Year 2015 ï· P9343 â Affected Model Year 2016 ï· P9345 â Affected Model Year 2017 ï· P9347 â Affected Model Year 2018 ï· P9349 â Affected Model Year 2019 2. Dealers should remedy any affected vehicles in dealer new or pre-owned inventory to ensure customer satisfaction.

Summary2014-2020 ROGUE; NO AIR FLOW FROM VENTS DUE TO SNOW BUILD-UP IF YOU CONFIRM Or the customer states there is no air flow from any of the HVAC vents And There is snow build-up in and around the blower motor air inlet, behind the cowl. ACTION 1. Remove all snow, water, and debris from the blower motor inlet, cowl area, and where the blower motor mounts. 2. Clean or replace the blower motor as needed. 3. If the blower motor does not work on all speed settings, replace the variable blower control (fan resistor). 4. If not already equipped: Install the cowl and wiper pivot filters listed in PARTS INFORMATION on the last page of this bulletin.

SummaryWhite Paint Class Action Owner Notification Dealer Notification In October, owners of white Nissan Rogues produced between January 11, 2013 and April 23, 2013, will receive a notice from a settlement administrator informing them of the terms of a proposed class action settlement. The settlement, if approved by the presiding court, could extend the warranty on the paint for four years and provide a one-time full vehicle repaint (subject to a copay). Eligible owners can also obtain coverage for any reasonable and necessary rental car coverage arising from the repaint, or reimbursement of amounts previously incurred for a one-time repaint and any reasonable and necessary rental car services arising from the repaint. The settlement also provides for eligibility in Nissanâs Vehicle Purchase Program. To be clear, unless and until the proposed settlement is approved by the presiding court, there is no warranty extension or other remedy and you should proceed with paint-related claims in the ordinary course. The proposed settlement, and the associated potential warranty extension, include many terms and conditions. Rather than attempting to address questions about the proposed settlement terms from customers, Nissan recommends dealers refer customers to the website listed below. This will enable owners to receive information from appropriate sources and avoid providing incorrect and/or incomplete information to customers. The website is currently live and available to inquiring customers. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. No action is necessary at this time. Nissan will provide additional instructions once the proposed settlement is approved by the court. 2. The software updates in the following Service Procedure are for the items below: ï· Stability improvements and bug fixes ï· System enhancements that will allow future Over-The-Air (OTA) updates. Without these software updates, future OTAs will not be possible. Refer to step 5 on page 5 to confirm that this bulletin applies. HINT: The update software only needs to be downloaded once and can then be used on multiple Applied Vehicles until other infotainment software is loaded onto the USB drive to overwrite the original data.
