SummarySOFTWARE UPDATE POP-UP NOTIFICATION SERVICE INFORMATION The infotainment system of the applied vehicle has the ability to update its software through an over-the-air (OTA) link. As software updates become available for new features, and/or patches, the software update screen (pop-up) shown in Figure 1 will automatically be displayed. Much like cell phone and computer updates, this is a normal feature which allows the user to choose when an update is downloaded. ï· It is recommended that while in dealer inventory and this pop-up appears, that â Yesâ is selected to provide the latest software version to the customer at delivery. NOTE: If the ignition is turned OFF in the middle of a download, it will automatically restart when the ignition is turned back ON. When one of the following is selected: Yesâ¦..The pop-up is hidden and the download starts in the background. Laterâ¦The pop-up is hidden and displayed again in the next key cycle (after cold start).

SummaryNISSAN; VIBRATION AND/OR NOISE WHEN MAKING LOW SPEED TURNS IF YOU CONFIRM There is a vibration or judder feeling from the rear of the vehicle during the following conditions: ï· When making turns ï· On dry roads ï· At low speeds (under 40 MPH) And ï· The above vibration does not occur if the Electric Controlled Coupling is electrically disconnected. NOTE: In some cases, electrically disconnecting the Electric Controlled Coupling may not eliminate the vibration as described above. In these cases, further confirm the incident by removing the rear propeller shaft and retest. If the vibration does not occur with the rear propeller shaft removed, the incident is confirmed. IMPORTANT: Tire size, brand or tread pattern mismatches can cause similar symptoms. To avoid tire related mismatch vibration, it is recommended that when tires need to be replaced, all tires are replaced at the same time with tires of the proper size, same brand and pattern. See ACTION on page 2.

SummaryQR25 Cylinder Head Voluntary Emission Recall Campaign ***** Campaign Summary ***** Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Emission Recall Campaign on approximately 2,209 specific MY2018 Nissan Rogue (T32) and 5,557 specific MY2018 Altima (L33) 2.5L vehicles identified in Service Comm to inspect the engine identification markings and, if they are from the subject manufacturing lot, the suspect cylinders and spark plugs will be inspected. If necessary, dealers may replace the engine, exhaust manifold catalyst, air fuel (A/F) ratio sensor, and oxygen sensor. A machining issue in the engine may exist, which could allow oil to escape past the valve guides and enter the combustion chamber. If an affected engine is not repaired, the performance of the manifold catalyst could degrade over time and cause exhaust gas emissions to exceed standards at high mileage. This incident has no effect on safety or fuel consumption but may decrease engine performance in rare cases. If Nissan has previously replaced the engine in the vehicle due to this condition, the exhaust manifold catalyst, air fuel (A/F) ratio sensor, and oxygen sensor will be replaced. ***** What Dealers Should Do**** 1. Verify campaign applicability using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaign I.D. ï· PC716 - Inspect Engine Identification Markings ï· PC717 - Manifold Catalyst Replacement 2. Dealers should use the appropriate campaign bulletin to remedy any vehicles subject to these campaigns: ï· PC716 â NTB20-025 ï· PC717 â NTB20-027 3. Once repaired, dealers should submit the claim, using the claims coding provided, and release the vehicle.

This includes vehicles purchased from private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners and vehicles in a dealerâs inventory. Federal law requires that new vehicles in dealer inventory which are the subject of an emissions recall must be corrected prior to sale. Failure to do so can result in civil penalties. While federal law applies only to new vehicles, Nissan strongly encourages dealers to correct any used vehicles in their inventory before they are retailed.
