SummarySome customers may experience all of following symptoms: The door lock/unlock operation will not work using the remote transmitter button. The door lock/unlock operation will not work using the door lock/release touch sensor. The engine will not start using the ignition switch. This is caused when excess load is applied to the remote transmitter and the electrical terminals in it may be deformed, causing poor contact with the battery. To eliminate this concern, the structure in the remote transmitter has been modified to reduce the deformation of the electrical terminals.

SummarySome vehicles may exhibit that the active air shutter is working, but DTC P05A0:00 (Active air shutter: Opening angle abnormality (sticking)) is stored in memory. This is caused by improper control software of the PCM detecting the DTC immediately without performing the failsafe operation. When the active air shutter detects unusual torque, it is designed to repeat the open/close cycles up to three times as a failsafe to try to remove the objects which temporarily disturbed the movement. To correct this concern, the control software of the PCM has been modified.

SummaryWhen the power windows are operated many times without being fully closed, small errors of the window position sensor may accumulate and cause improper operation of the jam-safe function. To reduce the risk of this occurrence, the AUTO function is disabled if the power window is operated 10 consecutive times without being fully closed (turning the ignition OFF and then ON does not reset the counting). If the power window is fully closed before the 10th time, the counting restarts and the AUTO function is not deactivated.
