At around 125,000, my car developed a shudder at switching gears. Ford has previously identified a problem with my car, which was manufactured before XXX, and purchased on or around XXX. They have since sent out a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB25-2154). No diagnostic codes are identified for the car, but since my car's extended warranty expired at 100,000 miles, I have a potentially dangerous car, where the torque converter may explode within the transmission and cause catastrophic failure. I drive XXX daily between [XXX], and [XXX], which is one of the most dangerous sections of the road. This problem is on top of 3 recalls for the rear camera. On May 10 a lighted wrench appeared on the instrument panel. The car felt as if I was loosing power. May 12 I got in the car, the wrench and check engine lights were both on. Called the dealer service department. They told me the car is not safe to drive as it cannot accelerator and will go into "limp mode". After having it towed to the Lincoln dealership, I was told the turbo in the engine failed. As of July 6, there is not a part available for this repair. Today I was told there are only 3 in the entire nation and they are all accounted for.

The manufacturer's interim safety instructions for Recall 26V091 are failing. Lincoln instructs drivers to use Pure EV mode to prevent battery fires. However, the Corsair's software actively overrides Pure EV mode, automatically turning on the gas engine and completely defeating the safety mitigation. Furthermore, the authorized dealership (Evergreen Ford WA) refuses to take the vehicle. Consumers are stranded with unmitigated fire risks due to software overriding the manufacturer's own safety protocols. While no incident, yet, as I have opted to simply not charge the battery at all to stay safe, I do not believe, based on my dialogue, that this is a safe vehicle, and they are refusing to address the issue.

While driving on the highway my vehicle experienced a sudden severe loss of power that led you a metallic rattling noise under the front of the vehicle and smoke coming out the exhaust pipes. Took it to a Ford dealership for diagnosis and repair however, it recommendations were long engine block replacement due to coolant intrusion from a cylinder wall cracking due to a manufacturer defect that is a widely known and has a large class action lawsuit. Well, I’m being told I have to pay $11,000 out-of-pocket because my vin is not included in the active recalls of the vehicles of the same making and model as mine. The issues with my vehicle is not caused from wear and tear is a manufacturer defect and should be included to be repaired being that this vehicle is less than five years old under 100,000 miles and I’ve only had the vehicle since November 2024.

The contact owns a 2025 Lincoln Corsair. The contact stated that the turn signal noise was faint and could barely be heard by the driver. The contact stated that this failure could be a hazard to other drivers as the turn signal could be left on and the driver would not have any indication that the turn signal remained on. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and was informed that there was no remedy for the failure. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure and the representative acknowledged that the turn signal matter was a common issue reported to them from other owners. The contact was informed that there was a shift in how the digital audio was processed which caused the change in sound. The contact was again informed that there was no fix for the defect. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 5.

- #11739804May 24, 2026EXTERIOR LIGHTING, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
We took delivery of the vehicle in March 2025. The vehicle has never been involved in any accident or collision during our possession. • In April 2026, we discovered that the passenger-side rear brake light was no longer functioning. • Upon inspection, dealership personnel informed me that a small crack—approximately one inch in length—in the plastic housing of the driver-side rear turn signal allegedly allowed moisture intrusion that ultimately caused the passenger-side brake light failure. • I was further advised that the repair would not be covered under warranty and was presented with an estimate totaling $1,377.54 (copy enclosed). • The dealership speculated that the crack may have resulted from a minor parking-lot incident. However, no evidence was provided to establish either the cause of the crack or when it occurred. My concern is not merely the cost of the repair, although the quoted amount appears disproportionate to the nature of the issue. More importantly, the explanation provided raises serious concerns regarding the integrity and durability of the rear lighting assembly itself.

For most of 2025 and now into April 2026, I have been unable to use my car’s electric capabilities. This is due to active recalls for which no permanent repair is available. Temporary fixes have not resolved these issues. Thus, for an extended period of time, a primary feature of my car, a feature for which I purchased this vehicle, has been unavailable to me. I want to be clear: •The defect involves a major advertised and purchased function of the vehicle (plug-in hybrid operation); •The condition has persisted for a year; •Neither Lincoln nor the dealership have provided a reliable repair or accurate timeline for resolution; •Interim measures have failed to restore functionality.
