SummaryTECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN: SHIFT LEVER POSITION INSPECTION & DETENT DAMPER REPLACEMENT FOR REMOTE START FAILURE - This bulletin provides information to inspect the shift lever position and, if necessary, replace the shift lever detent damper on some 2022-2023MY Stinger H-MATIC (CK) vehicles produced from December 23, 2020 through October 30, 2022. The shift lever detent damperâÂÂs angled design may cause interference between the detent damper and the shift lever Park 'P' switch resulting in the Integrated Body Control Unit (IBU) not registering 'P'. This can render the Remote Start function inoperative when either using the key fob or Kia Access App.

SummaryTECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN: OIL LIFE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (OLMS) AND MAINTENANCE REMINDER FEATURE - This bulletin provides information regarding the new Oil Life Management System (OLMS) Maintenance Reminder Setting feature available on some 2023MY~ and later vehicles. Kia is advising that the new OLMS maintenance reminder feature be enabled on all applicable 2023MY and later vehicles. The OLMS monitors deterioration data factors such as engine rpm, engine load, engine oil temperature and evaluates conditions such as short distance driving in cold weather, high-temperature uphill driving, and long-term idle. The 'Service Interval' (Time and Mileage) option in the Cluster settings may still be available on vehicles equipped with the new OLMS feature for customer use. During vehicle PDI, OLMS is set (100%) from the factory and not required to be reset.
