The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that the side marker lights do not function when connected to the Recreational Vehicle he towed. The contact installed a tow vehicle wiring harness from Mopar and connected the wires to the recreational vehicle. The contact stated that side marker lights seized to operate as intended. No warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was approximately 4,000.

I had just left my home and got up to about 20-25 MPH when my Jeep Wrangler Willy’s 4XE suddenly and abruptly came to a full stop causing the tires to lock up as well and screech to a stop then it shut down and I had to restart it. It jolted my upper body and head forward and could’ve been much more dangerous if I were on a busy road or if anyone were driving behind me. I took it to my local dealership and they were able to recreate the issue after driving it and it shut off just as it did for me. They brought it in and seem to have primarily done some software update but didn’t express much confidence in the repair. They just said there were no DCT’s but there was some software updates and that should fix it. They also claimed there were no recalls present on the vehicle which is even more scary. So the only way there fixing this if they even are fixing it is it already happened to you and put you in danger.

The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Wrangler. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V652000 (Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that the Auto START/STOP technology failed to restart as needed while idling at a stop light. Additionally, the infotainment system displayed a black screen intermittently. The dealer was contacted and informed the contact that the vehicle needed to remain with the dealer for 3-weeks, but a loaner vehicle would not be provided; even though the contact had been informed that a loaner vehicle would be provided. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage 1,000. Parts distribution disconnect.

Driving down the interstate at 65MPH, vehicle totally failed, all lights came on dash, automatic braking engaged and stopped the vehicle. Towed to dealer. Dealer had for 21 days. Received it back January 9th 2025 and on January 16th, 2025, same exact issue. Driving on battery, vehicle cut out, all lights came on dash, vehicle quickly slowed with auto-braking and left me stranded in the middle of the interstate. it would not restart for 5 minutes. Jeep is back at the dealer now.

Power Inverter Module How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? Yes. Car stopped in the middle of the road. No warning light until after Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Dealer confirmed power inverter module needs to be replaced Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? Vehicle is at the dealership. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No warning lights until after the incident. No other symptoms

We leased our jeep [XXX and started having Software (SW) issues in December 2023. We were informed in June 2024, after having multiple SW issues, from dealer senior mechanic that 90% of the first wave 2024 Jeep Wranglers had SW issues. Our jeep was a first wave unit, we were not informed of a possible SW during test drive. There's been two SW updates that I know of, one in late Jun 2024 and another in mid Sept 2024. Neither fixed all the SW issues and in fact added more additional issues. Dates listed or beginning dates. Issues include Control-D: going totally blank starting in Jan 2024 on startup or while driving or starting, in Oct 2024 having a half inch strip across the top and down left side, Dash navigation direction provides two dashes starting Jul 2024 on startup and for about 30sec, GPS freezing up in Aug 2024, all functions on screen froze up Nov 2024, to name a few. FCA US LLC has no idea when the next SW update will be released or what fix's will be included. Hardware (HW): Mar 2024 headlights with switch in Auto will come on in broad sunlight. While driving on [XXX], engine warning light came on and remained on for a total of 36hours during start up and driving time. Presently at Starr Motors Suffolk, VA since Dec 16, 2024. They have been directed to trouble shoot and fix HW. We've were informed Jan 14, 2025, that the Oil Control Valve is bad, and more testing will be performed once parts are replaced. Upon reaching about 60 MPH on the freeway, the vehicle suddenly began to shake violently, severely reducing my ability to steer and control the vehicle. After quickly (and dangerously) reducing my speed, it stopped, but it occurred again two more times. I pulled over and turned the car off, did a quick inspection and found nothing out of order. When I resumed my trip, the problem did not occur again. After getting home, I searched the Internet and found out that my Jeep suffered from what is called the "Death Wobble". Apparently, Jeep has known about the problem for years and has not corrected this dangerous and scary defect.

On 12/06/2024 while driving on highway around 65 mph, hear loud bang and vehicle shut off (no warnings). Thanks to quick action of drive alongside, was able to get to side of highway without accident. Would restart but would not go into gear. Upon towing to dealer, discovered catastrophic failure of rear shaft and rear differential. Drive shaft broke off the differential. Dealer waiting on back ordered parts before they can determine if problem was by driveshaft, differential, or some other part of the drivetrain.

The first instance of this issue occurred on June 1, 2024, while driving to my daughter’s soccer tournament. My Jeep abruptly shut off in the middle of the freeway, displaying a “prepare to stop” warning, and left me stranded on the side of the road. The vehicle would not restart for 30 minutes. Since then, this problem has occurred five times, creating unsafe and unpredictable situations. I am constantly worried about the vehicle’s reliability, as it has placed me in frightening and dangerous circumstances. Despite the severity of the issue, Jeep has been unable to resolve the problem and has not provided a loaner vehicle. This is a matter of safety, not convenience, and it requires immediate attention.

We have a 4xe jeep wrangler Rubicon X that we purchased for $70,000. We purchased this vehicle to take advantage of the hybrid features, only to later find out that these batteries that are installed in these vehicles have the potential to explode, and cause massive property damage. This is a total defect from the manufacturer and as a consumer I should not have to make financial sacrifices to trade in a vehicle that's 8 months old that's significantly decreased in value by over 30k in such a short time period. Jeep, Stellantis, and the dealerships need to stop selling these hazardous vehicles and make this right to their consumers. I would like to resolve this matter now before seeking legal counsel on my behalf.

Purchasd in January 2024 similar incident reported twice, early 2024 and now this date 12/2/24. Incident includes vehicle warning to “stop Vehicle. Engine will shut down’ followed by errant warning gauges going off, cameras, speedometer other indicators not working. Twice brought to dealer. First time they could not verify condition. Now I at dealer again for incident service. Pending. Seems to be a recurring problem dating years back with no resolution from Jeep. A very unsettling issue as to safety and drivability of vehicle.
