After hitting any size bump my car does not stop, the car starts shaking, and I have to slam on the brake in order to stop. This has happened multiple times, the most recent caused me to almost run a red light and cause and accident. I am reaching out to the dealer today. The car did not show any warning lights on the dashboard.

I heard a loud thud noise from passenger rear of the vehicle when going over bumps car also has a bad vibration the rear shock absorber and shock are bad and dealership wants me to pay for it. If this part was to completely fail while driving could potentially cause serious injuries to those in the vehicle.

While driving down the interstate heard a loud sound, sounding like a shot gun. Looked and the sunroof shattered. Immediately took it into the dealership and they determined it was not hit by anything and they have been seeing a rise of this happening. They are fixing under warranty and had to give me rental car because they don’t know how long it will take. It was extremely scary and thankfully my sunroof cover was closed. I can easily see this causing a car accident.

At a low speed coming to a stop sign on an uneven paved road the steering wheel shook and the brake pedal pulsed. I was unable to stop the vehicle in a timely manner. The outside conditions were normal and the pavement was dry. Luckily there was not a vehicle or pedestrian in front of me or I likely would have ran into them. It scared me and my daughter that was in the car with me.

Low speeds going over any uneven surface even slightly uneven causes the abs brakes to kick in and the car car shakes and unable to stop the car. Had happened multiple times this time I almost crashed into the car in front of me going 6mph because my brakes didnt let me stop and the road was fine just a a couple breaks in the pavement

While braking, hitting a bump causes the ABS to engage and disengage repeatedly causing a violent shaking in the brake pedal and steering wheel. The brake pedal goes soft and the issue was only stopped by pushing the brake pedal to the floor with extra force.

VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE, SUSPENSION
The contact owns a 2024 Hyundai Palisade. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the Forward Collision Avoidance system erroneously activated causing the vehicle to abruptly stop. During the failure there were no other vehicles or objects nearby. Additionally, while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would not properly accelerate while depressing the accelerator pedal. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. In addition, while making left turns there was a popping sound coming from the front of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed and determined that the front differential was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 250.

2021 Hyundai Palisade 30, 000 miles while driving started having a random clicking noise coming from the doors and a relay clicking noise coming from under the glove box followed by a Child Safety Lock Failure error message on the instrument cluster. This would sporadically continue to happen while driving as well as upon approaching vehicle. I have two small toddlers that I am truly concerned about. So far Hyundai has replaced 2 door latches and the Child Safety Lock Switch to no avail because the issue is still ongoing.

Vehicle has been to the dealership twice for an issue with the right-side seat bolster not correctly inflating on the driver's seat. Both times they are claiming the vehicle operates to the standards of a new vehicle on the lot but cannot give information on why the right and left sides operated differently or prove with a service manual on why. Hyundai claim's a 22-way seat, but without the right side moving, this is a 21-way seat. Would like information directly from Hyundia on the correct operations of the seat and also a replacement.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
If you have the child locks engaged on the driver side door controls, the back locks will continuously click as if they are trying to lock/unlock. This can happen when opening the locks with the fob, or randomly while driving. There are multiple reports of this issue on online forums such as Reddit, [XXX] , etc. This should be considered as a known safety issue with the potential to impact the health and wellbeing of children riding in the back of Hyundai models, yet no recall is in place to address it. Multiple owners have reported dealing with Hyundai dealerships on this issue at this time, not sure why Hyundai is dragging their feet in addressing this obvious safety concern??? SERVICE BRAKES, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
I just had my 5th occurrence with my new 2024 Hyundai Palisade where while braking at a slow speed, my abs kicked in and wouldn’t stop my car despite pushing the brake to the floor. Finally it abruptly stopped. In all situations, the road surfaces seemed to be slightly uneven or slightly bumpy. Each time this happened, I was traveling very slow and no faster than 10 mph. I’ve had my car for 2+ months and now has happened 5 times. This past time, I missed rear ending a vehicle in front of me because abs was aggressively pulsating but not stopping until almost hitting the vehicle in front of me.

SERVICE BRAKES, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
When driving at low speeds over bumpy roads or obstacles like train tracks, seems like the ABS activates and the brake pedal turns very hard to press and the car wouldn't brake unless pushed very hard as the car keeps moving forward, not stopping. It's happened at least 4 times in 2 months. Braking capacity diminishes by 90% in those few seconds and if you don't know how to act and press the brake as hard as you can, the car won't stop.

The child safety door lock system is malfunctioning. While driving or approaching the vehicle with the keyfob, all door locks will cycle repeatedly and randomly. After a minute or so of cycling, the dash will illuminate that the child safety door lock system has failed. The light on the child lock button on the door will remain illuminated; however, the rear doors can be opened, including while driving. This is a significant safety issue for those with children in the back seat. Dealer hasn't been helpful. Issue can be repeated by cycling the child lock button on the door.

Leased vehicle in September 2022. In December 2022 Apple Car Play stopped functioning. This was a safety issue as when driving to a destination all of a sudden it stopped working so the GPS directions stopped and the calls would not come through either over the Bluetooth so we had to fumble with the phone. Also when this would happen the car’s NAVI system would not work or even load. Numerous visits to the dealer in 2023 and they were never able to figure out the issue. They changed the radio unit and it would work for a while and stop again. In January 2024 it worked for about 3 months then stopped again in April 2024. Over the last month the car’s NAVI system has stopped working completely and today the car would not start. AAA came over and the battery is dead and they suspect there is an electrical problem draining the battery as usually batteries last 3-4 years. As I explained numerous times to the dealership in 2023 this is a safety issue where many times my wife who mostly drives the vehicle with our kids would be driving using the Apple car play which would then disconnect as well as the Bluetooth voice for calls and sometimes could not on side of the road. We will be towing the car to the dealership and ask them to replace the battery but diagnose all electronics as if this not fix once and for all it will drain the battery again. We need a resolution to this safety problem.

The contact stated that while his wife was pulling out of a parking lot, the brake pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle independently accelerated forward and then came to a complete stop seconds later. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 700.

POWER TRAIN
On 01/12/24 my vehicle cut off while driving and wouldn't allow me to shift from park to shift. The transmission also had a habit of jerking back and forth when under load going up a hill. Hyundai dealership suggested a transmission flush. After the flush the problem came back in May of 2024
