Front row and 2nd row seat belts will randomly unlatch. I'll be driving and suddenly hear the seat belt unlatch which then triggers the audible seat belt alert. No idea what is causing this. The issue will also happen wven when im parked. I'm purchased the vehicle brand new, I'm the sole owner and driver of this vehicle. It's currently has 42,862 miles.

Rear suspension has failed. Back of car bounces on slightest of rough roads. Ride is very rough for passengers in back two rows. Driver and front passenger also experience bumpy ride that was not there before. When researching, this seems to be a common issue for Palisades with self leveling rear suspension. Car does not seem safe from bouncing due to rear suspension failure.

The 2nd row seatbelt on the passenger side comes unlatched during vehicle movement. Often times it will not latch and secure the seatbelt when a passenger is in the seat. On numerous occasions it has come unbuckled or would not work at all as required. Hyundai service centers have been unable to recreate the problem during inspection, stating there is nothing wrong with the seatbelt and we need to make sure we latch it fully. The deficiency never seems to happen during inspection but happens when my children and adult passengers are in the seat.

Driving on the highway, the sunroof exploded randomly. Glass blew up and out of the car, endangering anyone driving behind us. Glass also fell into the vehicle on myself and my pregnant wife. There were no warning lights or signs prior to this happening. This car is a certified pre owned car under warranty that had just gone through a full inspection prior to purchase in the fall of 2024.

I have experienced a couple times where the driver's seatbelt has become unbuckled. We have owned the Palisade since May of 2022. We have had now issues with the seat belts until this past two weeks. I buckled the front seat belt like normal. It unclicked. I forced the seat belt to click harder and it did stay secure, but a couple miles down the road the seat belt unclicked. Possible faulty seat belt. As mentioned, this has not been an issue until now.

My Ongoing Car Leak Issue Ongoing issues in my vehicle’s moon roof. •Late September 2024: I first noticed water leaks in the front and rear of the moon roof. •[XXX]: Took to Wilson County Hyundai. They claimed to find no leaks. •[XXX]: The leak was evident again. I took it back; they acknowledged a factory defect in a drain tube and claimed to have repaired it. •[XXX]: I took it to a different dealership “Hickory Hollow Hyundai”, They were unable to replicate the leak. They suggested I record a video of it during the next rain event. So I did on [XXX]. See: [XXX] •December 11th: Frustrated with the lack of progress, I filed a formal complaint with Hyundai Customer Service, receiving case number #[XXX]. Hickory Hollow Hyundai then then told me to bring the car back in for repairs. As of Jan 16th: •Hyundai of Hickory Hollow said it was fixed and allowed me to come pick up the vehicle. They also said they had tested it thoroughly and there is no longer a leak. I brought the vehicle home and waited for the next rain so I could see for myself. As of January 27: •It rained less than .25 inches last night, but when I drove the vehicle this morning it leaked in both the front and rear. I did make a video of the leak, which is at: [XXX] As of February 1: •It has been 115 days since I first took the vehicle in for a leak repair. •There have been four (4) repair attempts and more leakage. •This has caused a very dangerous situation for my family. Hyundai has virtually done nothing that corrected the problem. Nor have they responded to my requests for a resolution. •I have full documentation on all the above. The rear passenger captain seatbelt does not latch properly. My daughter who is [XXX] struggled one day to get the seat belt to latch. Upon inspection nothing appeared to be stuck in the latch. The seatbelt would enter into the lower lock fine, but not engage. After several attempts the seatbelt would eventually latch. However when driving if under pressure, the seatbelt has come unlatched with no action to the release button. I had a similar issue with the rear seatbelt in the third row that just wouldn't latch no matter what and the dealership replaced no issues. I took my car to Vision Hyundai in Canandaigua this morning and was informed that they couldn't replicate the issue so the latch was in fact not broke. The gentleman was putting his whole weight into it when latching it, but did share if he slowly tried to latch it didn't catch, but that wasn't a safety concern. After reviewing multiple hyundai forums, I see I am not alone and this appears to be a wider issue. 37 others have filed a formal complaint regarding this issue and I tried to tell the guy, I don't want to be driving and get into an accident and then the seatbelt decides to "fail". It should be taken at the customers request and the seatbelt should be replaced even if there is no formal safety recall. The first time this happened I was at a light waiting for it to turn green. My car went into a shutdown mode and gave me a message of " Auto Stop is Off. Shift to P or N Start Engine Manually". I tried repeatedly to restart the car after putting it into park, but it wouldn't respond. Finally, after 5 minutes of sitting blocking traffic, the engine started, and I drove away. This has now been happening off and on for 3 days. I cannot be stranded in a 50 mile an hour zone blocking traffic. It's an accident waiting to happen. After doing some research online I discovered this has been happening to Hyundai vehicles of different models for over 8 years! Why has Hyundai not recalled this? I think it's a manipulation to force you into one of their shops. I contacted several Hyundai dealerships to speak with someone who knows of this issue. One service manager told me it sounds like it needs a computer update. I ask the cost, and he said $260 and that does not guarantee it will fix the problem.

In Snow Mode, I was at a complete stop and then pushed on the gas pedal to go, the car did not accelerate. I pumped the pedal, still nothing. The car moved slowly like it was in neutral, but would not accelerate. I was trying to turn left at an intersection, it was very scary. I could have gotten rear ended or T-boned. The car finally moved when I changed the driving mode to Smart Mode. The exact scenario has happened several times to me and my husband when driving in snow mode. It happens from a full stop.
