The passenger side seat weight sensor assembly failed. It is available for inspection. The vehicle has been inspected and repaired by a certified Honda dealer. The airbag light stayed on beginning in December 2023. The SRS warning light came on in March 2024. This defect was subject to a recall of CRV’s manufactured from 2020 to 2022. We believe the 2019 vehicles were affected also and should have been part of the recall. Honda has recognized this problem and has reimbursed us $800 of the $1758.68 of the repair bill.

On Wednesday, [XXX], the sunroof glass of my 2019 Honda Cr-V Ex spontaneously exploded while driving on the highway. There was a startling loud sound that rendered me shocked while driving! It caused me to take my eyes off the road to look around my vehicle and in the rear-view mirror to see what had happened. Nothing hit the vehicle! Luckily, there were no other vehicles nor pedestrians nearby. I maintained staying in my lane, but I was completely distracted by the sound, this could have been dangerous! Also luckily, the interior sunroof shade was closed or I'd have been showered in broken glass. The service manager at the dealer I called, Greensboro Honda, said "I'm not going to lie, I have heard of this happening before". There are many reports of this happening online and, according to news station reports, an NHTSA investigation that was closed in 2021 citing that it “has not identified sufficient evidence of a safety-related defect in the subject sunroof.” On the same day the incident occurred, my vehicle was inspected by the Service employees of Honda of Greensboro, NC. They refused to fix the problem b/c the 'Area Manager", against the recommendation of the 'Service Manager', stated that "something must have hit the vehicle". I repeatedly insisted that nothing hit the vehicle. I have filed a claim with Nationwide Insurance. Greensboro of Honda did take photos and they taped the hole in the sunroof at no charge which was kind yet suspicious since I bought this 'Certified Pre-owned" vehicle at Leith Honda of Aberdeen. The Greensboro Honda dealership is not owned by Leith. Twice, once by phone message and once via email, I requested the email, denying the issue be fixed by Honda, between the 'Service Manager' and the 'Area Manager' at Greensboro Honda be forwarded to me, to no avail. There were no warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure. Note: the shape of the fractured glass hole look almost identical to others. FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS, LANE DEPARTURE: WARNING
The vehicle randomly starts FLASHING every warning message across the info screen, All steering and cruise functions become disabled. No codes when scanned, can't reset the displaty warnings but clears on its own sometimes, then comes back randonmly. Dealer has been no help and cant fix. Warning that display are: COLLISION ITIGATION SYSTEM, ROAD DEPARTURE MITIGATION SYSTEM PROBLEM, BRAKE PROBLE< STEERING PROBLEM and more.

After having service was told the steering box needs replacing ,but none available. Nine month wait for part.Seems Honda CR-V and Civics are affected. No one will answer if vehicle is safe to drive

Newspaper told me about the fuel pump recall in December. I have called the dealer several times over the last 5 months. They still don't have the parts. newspaper says "engine may stall increasing crash and injury risk." I called your help line who told me to wait til the parts are available. How long will I have to wait????????????????????????????????????

WHEELS
Rear tires completely bald after 3,000+/- miles. Toe setting was so bad that I was basically dragging the tires down the road. After replacing tires and new alignment done by Honda I had 3 different shops check alignment, they all showed wheels out of alignment and all with different values. After spending nearly 3 hours with Hunter (alignment equip mfr), the rep. said their standard alignment equipment will not work with the wheels but has not provided any resolution. Not knowing the wheels were bald I drove from Bonaire, GA to Jupiter, FL at 70 MPH and sometimes in the rain - Lucky to be alive. I'm concerned for everyone else who owns this vehicle with the wheels. You have no way to know if your vehicle is properly aligned and what happened to me could happen to anyone.

The contact owns a 2018 Honda CR-V. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts were not yet available. Rack an pinion is breaking. This represents a safety risk while driving since the steering wheel at times does not have full control of the vehicle. Two local mechanic shops diagnosed rack and pinion defects and informed that it has been a recurrent issue in my car model.

About one month ago I began to notice an unusual “kicking” sensation in my vehicle’s steering wheel associated with a “clicking” sound. It has gotten worse since then. I brought my vehicle to my mechanic where a faulty electronic power steering assembly was diagnosed. I was informed by them that this is an issue with many of the Honda CRVs made in 2022 and prior. Mine is a 2018. The cost of the repair is several thousand dollars. I have been advised by my mechanic to avoid unnecessary driving, especially on the freeways as this assembly could fail at any time. The replacement part is apparently very difficult to get even from Honda dealerships.

Vehicle is flashing all kinds of repair needed signals. It is stalling and shutting off. It's not safe for me to drive. I'm elderly (disabled) and need to drive to get medicine and doctors appointments. The fuel pump is on recall and I can not wait until the fall to get the pump replaced. No Honda dealers have the pumps in stick yet. I need help ASAP. Thank you

My wife's Honda 2022 CRV EXL Steering started sticking at about 10,000 miles September 2023. I got it to dealer last week 4-1-2024 at 15,000 miles and they confirmed Rack and Pinion had to be replaced. The parts are on back order with a September 2024 delivery date! This is unacceptable!! The car is almost and possibly dangerous to drive! Honda has known about this issue for a long time now. Oh and the dealer had 5 cars with the same issue ahead of me with September parts delivery date!!

We are experiencing stiff & jerky steering on our 2023 Honda CRV with current mileage of 9,600. Vehicle is available for inspection. We are concerned that if steering wheel were to lockup, we might not be able to avoid a collision. This would put us & others in danger. At the dealership on April 9, 2024 the problem was confirmed to be in the power steering. They told us a replacement part has been ordered, but it is on back order & they are unsure how long it will take to receive it. They assured us the vehicle is safe to drive. The vehicle has not been inspected by anyone else. There is no warning lamp or message alerting us to the problem.

The steering wheel feels sticky, especially when taking a gentle left curve and also when driving straight. This started happening after about 7500 miles. The amount of force needed to break the stickiness isn't much, but it is unsettling and causes concern. It almost stays in place when releasing both hand from the wheel. I think this should be associated with investigation number EA23003. I brought the vehicle in to the dealer but was told to schedule a diagnostic appointment which has yet to be done. There are no warning lights or alerts concerning this

The fuel injectors are the issue with this Honda. When driving with these injectors and they go bad the vehicles braking system, lane assist, and Vehicle stability goes out. I have had my vehicle serviced (no injectors available to fix issue at this moment) by a Honda dealership since every warning and check engine light was on. Honda is aware of this issue but fails to recall the injectors. No repair invoice yet however it is a $2,500 fix when the parts are available from backorder.

Steering wheel was jerking while I was driving. I took the car to the dealership where I was told the car would need a new steering rack. Some part of it was failing and that is why the steering wheel would move on it's own. I believe my safety was put at risk, because at any moment the steering rack would not work as it should and jerk, or potentially stop working, while I was driving. There were no warning messages given by the car. The issue started at around 9000 miles.
