- #11545089September 18, 2023SERVICE BRAKES, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
Traveling at 70 mph on cruise control, tapped breaks to turn off, multiple warning lights flashed, vehicle lost power, and breaks with multiple messages including “Break system failure, top speed 62 mph”. I lost all breaking control on the highway and nearly crashed into other vehicles due to inability to stop. Was able to pull over, turn off vehicle, and turn back on, when the breaks were working again but the vehicles acceleration was very slow. Currently at authorized repair shop. When dropped off, there were 8-9 active codes.

Tailgate opens when driving and when parked. I thought something must of hit the button on the dash the first time it happened but now it is constantly doing it on its own. It has damaged the hitch.

On or about [XXX], the Transmission Control Module, FAILED, on my 2011GMC Denali 2500 6.6 diesel. It was a KNOWN faulty part .General Motors was aware of the issue years ago. This part should have been deemed a Safety Recall item. Imagine, pulling a trailer down a busy Freeway, with Semi's presence. Module goes out, truck goes idle, people hurt or worse. When the car is on and in park, there is a button on the front console that drops the tail gate. The truck gives you no indication that the button has been pressed or that the tailgate is open. You can then drive the truck with the tailgate open and have no indication or idea. As a result, it is easy to lose gear out of the truck bed while you are driving. This button is located just above a storage compartment and is easy to press while placing items in this compartment. This is a major safety hazard on the road. There is no option to disable this button or be alerted when you tailgate is open.

driving at 70mph, thread from tire blew.. That was in July, I went and purchased another tire from Bob King GMC Wilmington, NC. The first tire that blew was now discontinued so I purchased another Good Year . On Friday I noticed that another tire on my truck had a bubble along the threads again. It was also getting ready to blow like the first tire. I went to the dealer and they told me the tire I purchased (Good Year) was also discontinued... Please look into this matter.. They have faulty tires and this matter could have turned out with a death.. It isn't the dealers fault it is Good Year .... I have also read on line this isn't the first time people are complaining about the threads coming apart....

- #11544094September 12, 2023SERVICE BRAKES
I was driving the vehicle with my 4 year old daughter and experienced a complete brake failure. The dealership responded by replacing the master cylinder (the truck only has 16000 miles on it). Upon receiving the truck back from the dealer, another brake failure occurred. This is a dangerous vehicle and GM has done nothing to make it right with me.

Engine Oil Cooler Line detached from Crip fitting. Vehicle: 2019 Sierra 1500 powered with 6.2L L87. GM has a published policy for a specific 530 vehicles, GM Claims my VIN was not covered hence no recall police "Customer Satisfaction Program N212326940" letter was released for subject VIN. It's clear, this issue exists beyond the scope of 530 vehicles. No know warnings existed prior to the incident. Vehicle has been repaired at owners expense and not supported by GM.

Transmission Control Module I was at an intersection when the TCM malfunctioned halfway through and I lost all power to my motor. I was pulling a large trailer and cross traffic had to slam on brakes to keep from hitting me. My truck will not move faster that a few miles an hour now that it is in limp mode. I am a police officer and I had an onboard diagnostic tool that showed that there was no communication to the TCM. Stabilitrack warning lamp and check engine light are now on. It all happened at once no warning.
