Some Cascadia and New Cascadia vehicles equipped with Meritor steer axle drum brakes with a front axle rating less than 13,300 lb (6038 kg) have experienced brake squealing noise when the service brakes are applied at lower speeds. NOTE: This is a nuisance noise issue and not a failure. The solution given in this service bulletin may fix this issue.

SummaryService Bulletin for Installing a Fog Lamp Backshell. The connector that attaches to the fog lamp is exposed to water spray from the front tires. Even though the connector is sealed, water spray, in addition to wiring that may be pulled sideways, can cause water intrusion into the connector. A backshell can be added to the connector to provide shielding from direct water spray. It also provides strain relief for the wires entering the connector.

Additional harness wrapping is added to reduce the harness chafing.
