I believe my vehicle is exhibiting the same transmission issues leading up to the failure of transmission components identified in NHTSA Recall #: 26V402. My vehicle is having hard downshifts at low speeds, usually between 3rd and 1st gear, while comping to a stop. It seems to happen randomly. My VIN number was not found to be in the effected vehicles when searching on the NHTSA Recall page.

I received codes p2888, p288a, p0c2c all within the current recall parameters however my vin is not listed in the recall currently but falls within the same guidelines for those model years, engine, and trim package. It is the parking/pawl codes. I cannot currently drive my vehicle and I am about to face very heavy charges with getting a repair for my vehicle. As of now the Ford service writer at Platinum Ford North in Pilot Point, Texas has told me it is unsafe to drive and repairs will need to be made and that the repairs are currently not within any safety recalls for my specific VIN.

- #11757079August 14, 2026FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
On June 20, 2026, my 2021 Ford F-150 5.0L V8 suddenly lost engine power while I was driving on the freeway. The vehicle became disabled and had to be towed. The vehicle was towed to an authorized Ford dealership on June 23, 2026, where it remains. The dealership inspected the vehicle and confirmed that it is affected by Ford Recall 25S75 / NHTSA Recall 25V455 and advised that there is currently no available repair or remedy for the fuel pump issue. Ford Customer Service has also opened a case regarding the vehicle and provided a loaner vehicle, but no repair or estimated date for a remedy has been provided. The sudden loss of engine power while traveling on the freeway created a significant safety hazard. The vehicle could no longer maintain normal speed or acceleration, creating a risk of being struck by other vehicles traveling at highway speeds and a risk to surrounding motorists. Ford's recall identifies this fuel pump issue as capable of causing an engine stall while driving. The vehicle remains at the Ford dealership and is available for inspection upon request. To my knowledge, it has not been inspected by police or an insurance representative. There were no known warning symptoms prior to the failure; the vehicle was operating normally until it suddenly lost engine power on June 20, 2026. The failure is particularly concerning because the recalled component appears to have failed in the exact manner described in the recall, leaving the vehicle disabled while driving. Ford currently has no available remedy, and the vehicle remains unrepaired at the dealership.

My 2021 Ford F-150 PowerBoost, VIN [XXX], is included in Ford recall 25S75 / NHTSA recall 25V455. The vehicle has stalled more than five times and is experiencing the same dangerous condition described in the recall. The Ford dealer told me I can bring the truck in, and they will diagnose the problem and repair it if they can. However, I must pay all costs upfront and then request reimbursement after Ford releases the official recall remedy. I should not be required to pay out of pocket for the diagnosis and repair of a known safety defect covered by an active recall. There is also no clear timeline for when a remedy will become available or when I would be reimbursed. I cannot reasonably be expected to pay now and potentially wait years to recover my money. This vehicle repeatedly stalls and creates a serious crash risk. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate Ford’s delay and require Ford to provide an immediate, no-cost diagnosis and repair or provide safe alternative transportation until the recall remedy is available. The contact's son owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the owner attempted to start the vehicle; however, the vehicle failed to start. The owner replaced the battery, and the vehicle was towed to the dealer and was diagnosed with a fuel pump failure. The contact was informed that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The contact was informed that parts were unavailable for the repair. Additionally, the owner was informed that the repair could be paid for out-of-pocket and a request for reimbursement could be made when parts became available. The owner declined to pay out of pocket for the repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer requested that the vehicle be removed from the dealer lot. The vehicle was towed to an alternative dealer for storage because the vehicle was inoperable. The owner then received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V455000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and two cases were filed. The failure mileage was approximately 66,000.

My F150 10R80 transmission is throwing a P076F code. And the shifting has become very harsh and eratic all across the 10 gears. Hesitations, high revs, hard shifts, etc. This is a known issue by Ford and they have issued TSBs on the issue. They acknowledge that it is a design flaw within the transmission and have issued fixes. But if you are outside of the 60,000mi warranty, the burden of the costs falls on me, the owner. $9400 to replace the transmission with a new Ford transmission here in Colorado. This is a known problem in the design but Ford is not stepping up to help. They let the burden fall on the owner.

The contact's son owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated that after her son shifted from park(P) to drive(D), the vehicle failed to respond as needed. Several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact's son was able to drive to the residence nearby after several attempts. While at the residence, the failure recurred after shifting to drive(D), and the vehicle made an abnormal grinding sound. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, and it was determined that the passenger’s side rear axle was fractured. The failure was associated with NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V896000 (Power Train). The vehicle was towed to a dealer, where the diagnosis was confirmed; however, parts were unavailable for the recall repair. The vehicle remained unrepaired, and no rental vehicle was provided. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 100,650.

This recall has been going on for over a year. I don't know how long these usually take, but this recall - Manufacturer Recall Number25S75 NHTSA Recall Number25V455 Recall StatusRecall Incomplete, remedy not yet available My truck runs rough at times which I believe is a direct result from the fuel pump on this recall, and it doesn't give me much confidence on my daily driver truck, especially going on long trips. I don't know if this message carries any weight in the timeline on this recall, but I would really like this fixed soon so I don't have a stall incident with my family in the vehicle.

THIS TRUCK THAT I HAVE PURCHASED FROM PALM COAST FORD HAS A RECALL EVERY MONTH THAT KEEPS ME FROM UTILIZING THE VEHICLE. THE LATEST RECALL THAT THERE IS NOT A FIX FOR YET, I WAS TOLD IS A COMPLETE RISK AND I SHOULD NOT EVEN DRIVE THE TRUCK. I REQUEST THAT YOU LOOK INTO ALL OF THE RECALLS THAT HAVE BEEN LISTED ON THIS PARTICULAR VEHICLE AND KNOW THAT I AM TAKING THIS UP WITH FORD, BUT ALSO WANTED TO INFORM YOUR DATABASE OF THE ISSUES AS WELL. I HAVE ONLY HAD THE TRUCK FOR ABOUT A YEAR AND IT HAS BEEN RECALL AFTER RECALL AND THIS ONE THERE IS NOT EVEN A FIX FOR IT TILL NEXT YEAR, AND I AM NOT SUPPOSED TO EVEN DRIVE IT CAUSE IT IS HAZARDOUS.

On-going issue with 1080R transmission acting weird. Hard downshifts when truck is cold, even slightly warmed up. Lazy shifts, like transmission gets lost shifting from 2nd to 3rd. It pauses the shift and takes about 5 or 6 seconds to find 3rd gear. Seems to be in line with tons of known Ford 1080r cdf drum issues based on info I read online. Dealer has noted and replicated some of the issues. They've done a relearning procedure which temporarily seems to help it but then goes back to issues within a few hundred miles.
