I can't rent out the car due to a safety recall and I can't sell it either to Chrysler dealerships because they can't sell it to the public. It's been 2 month since there is not fix, they said there would be a fix by Quarter 3 this year but nothing yet. I just want Chrysler to buy the car back with the same amount I purchased it for.

Stellantis "released" recall for 2022-2025 Chrysler Pacifica vehicles. This specific VIN number involves recall 54C. I work for a dealership, Stellantis has a large order restrictions on the part(s) despite having over 6k parts available in parts distribution centers ready to be shipped in the US. The parts are currently limited to dealers only being able to order 2 parts every 7 days. On top of that, the recall has been "released" but inside the recall document, it is stating that only model years 2024-2025 are available, and have not actually released it for model years 2022-2023, despite the repair procedure (and parts) being the same for all model years. They will not pay any claims to dealers on this recall for 2022-2023 vehicles. This behavior is not isolated to this recall, and happens in numerous recalls released by Stellantis. For a safety recall, there should not be an order restriction to dealerships, especially if there is recall parts available in PDC's. If needed, I can provide screenshots of order restriction, and the current part supply in PDC's within the US.

I received a safety recall regarding my 2023 Chrysler Pacifica side curtain air bags in May 2025. I have been trying to schedule repair of the problem and the dealership is unwilling to diagnose or assess the vehicle because they say the repair is not yet available. They did confirm the problem exists but are unwilling to touch the car until the manufacturer offers a fix. I am very concerned to drive my children in this vehicle without properly functioning airbags. I do not see any warning lights or messages about the problem.

Purchased new [XXX] from above. Towed/ driven to service over 3 attempts prior to 7/2023. Ongoing issue of vehicle FTS/intermittent FTS/vehicle cutting off while in gear. Multiple failed repairs, that would qualify for lemon. Parts replaced Summer 2023, minimal issues until 6/2025. 6/2025, FTS issues returned/dealer refused to run services; even with warranty. July 2025: van multiple FTS/error lights/eventually towed/loaner given. Constant claims issue could not be replicated at dealer. Go to p/u 8/8/25-would not start on lot, after being cleared. Chrysler tech sent out with no issues found per technician; although service manager reports he personally had multiple issues of FTS including AM of technician visit. Multiple conversations had with Mr. Sheets and Mr. Freeman. [XXX] FTS per “Red” at dealer prior to vehicle being returned to me; Foreman suggested ignition replacement/returned by dealer to residence that PM. RF Hub may need replaced, if issue reoccurred but shop refused to replace then. Van was taken to Pittsburgh, PA Labor Day weekend and FTS away from hotel on 9/2/25. Sheets provided loaner that PM at residence. RF hub replaced, van returned on 9/8/25. [XXX], van FTS at residence in late PM. 9/10/25, dealer contacted asking for service/loaner; no answers received. Drove after multiple FTS’s to dealer. Mr. Sheets stated “he can’t have me driving one of his cars for months” that dealer has “done all they can.” Also stated “Even though we’ve had issues from the start, there was a period where van functioned and ‘at least we got some use out of it.’ 9/19/25, Chrysler tech could not find issue and Mr. Freeman stated Mr. Sheets said “they will no longer pay for a rental going forward.” Multiple calls and media of vehicle failing to start. Vehicle unreliable/unsafe to operate on roadway. Vehicle not reliable to get to/from and cannot be relied upon in sudden event/ emergency; or if vehicle were to malfunction out of home area/in a dangerous environment. On August 2, while traveling about 75 MPH, the check engine light came on along with the warning "Stop Safely – Vehicle Will Shut Off Soon". The vehicle started immediately losing power. We were driving in the fast lane in traffic so pulling over was difficult and dangerous. After we were to the side of the road, we turned the van off. After 10 minutes or so, we continued on and pulled over at a rest stop. We have an OBD2 and checked the codes. At first, there were no codes even though the check engine light was on. After checking a few times, there were 2 codes. They were P1C65 PD and P0A43. I took the van into the dealership on August 4. They saw one of the codes saved. On August 7 the dealership preformed a software update. They were not able to reproduce the issue. Today, September 19, while driving, the check engine light came on with the warning "Stop Safely – Vehicle Will Shut Off Soon". The vehicle again started immediately losing power. This time it happened when traveling about 45 MPH.

-Ongoing safety recall with no available fix for rear airbags. -I do not feel comfortable using our Pacifica to transport our children when there is a known safety issue that could impact their safety and survival in an accident. -The problem has been known to Chrysler since at least May 2025. It is currently Mid-September, and there is still no fix available. -I am unable to trade my vehicle in due to this recall. -Courtesy Chrysler Dodge in Wyoming, MI has confirmed that there is still no fix available, and they could only buy it from me for "auction pricing" - I find this unacceptable since this is a manufacturer-related problem.

FCA US LLC, has decided that certain [2022-2025 model year (RU) Chrysler Pacifica and Chrysler Voyager] vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 226 – Ejection Mitigation. According to these Recall notices: 06C/NHTSA 25V-302 I drive my children in the car, and it is unsafe to drive them due to this air bag issue. I have asked Chrysler corporate for both a rental replacement at no cost to me until a remedy is available or to buy back the vehicle. I have called them 4 times, I have taken the car to the dealership to validate there are no other safety issues outside of the recall. They have not responded. I would like a replacement vehicle or I would like them to buy back the car.

I recently purchased a 2023 chrysler pacifica hybrid that did not have a recall listed for the loss of power incident. Within 24 hours of buying the car it died on me while driving. I was driving on a two lane busy road when without warning the vehicle beeped loudly and suddenly I lost all ability to use propulsion. The car illuminated that I should brake and it will shut off soon but soon was immediate and I had zero time to safely exit the road. After dying a little turtle symbol showed up on the dash and the check engine light became illuminated. Once I was able to get the vehicle restarted the check engine light remained illuminated and ai arranged for the car to be seen at the dealer right away. I took it to the dealer within a few minutes of this event and they did the update that was supposed to fix something. Within 3 days it repeated the same event. It is now sitting at the dealership to be looked at again. I had no time to stop safely, had I been on the highway the ability to remove myself safely from the road would have been zero percent chance. How long before the government steps in and holds Chrysler accountable for their poor quality and repairs that fix nothing? I lost power completely. I lost the ability to maintain speed in order to safely remove myself from the road. My family could have been killed. These are family vehicles, out yourself in the shoes of someone with children, would you feel safe putting your kids in a car that could die on you at any moment without any real warning signs?

There is an active recall but the manufacturer has failed to resolve the issue in a timely fashion. They currently have no idea how to repair or replace the airbags. As a result, my family do not feel safe in the vehicle.

While driving in the carpool lane on the freeway, the vehicle displayed “Stop Safely. Vehicle Will Shut Off Soon” and lost all power. I am pregnant and had four children (ages [XXX] , [XXX] , [XXX] , and [XXX] ) in the vehicle. The outside temperature was over 100°F, and we were two hours from home. The car was completely disabled in heavy traffic, creating an extreme safety risk for my family. After waiting about 15–20 minutes, the vehicle restarted and we were able to continue. A code scan showed P0A78 – Drive Motor “A” Inverter Performance. This is a serious safety concern, and I am requesting immediate inspection and repair under warranty. On 8/12/2025, he vehicle displayed a warning that said "Stop Safely, Vehicle will shut off soon" shortly after it was parked. It also displayed a red turtle and the check engine light. There was no warning or check engine light prior to the message that the vehicle was going to shut off. Fortunately, we had already parked safely, but were on the freeway traveling and about an hour away from home. It was 100 degrees outside, and we were stranded with no help from Chrysler customer care other than to tow the vehicle, leaving our kids and dog in a parking lot with no car. We declined this option and had it checked by a diagnostic computer at Jiffy Lube, which returned no diagnostic code. Eventually, all of the warnings and check engine lights went off, and we were able to take it home. We took it to the dealership at the earliest opportunity on 08/14, and they confirmed that this is a known issue and would require a transmission replacement. There is no timeline on the repair or replacement, only that it will take "a while". They do not advise that we take the van back because the issue could come nback at any moment and the vehicle could shut off without warning.

The vehicle has been at the dealership multiple times for transmission issues, and the most recent time slammed into park while driving slowly on a side road. It is a known hybrid transmission issue and the dealership just let me know that the manufacturer will not replace the transmission, only rebuild per TSB 21-025-25. I am concerned based on research of others with this issue that the rebuild will not fix the issue and the transmission will shift to park on the highway with my wife driving.
