Technician will inspect the quarter glass for excessive urethane. If excessive urethane is found use a sharp knife and cut off the excessive urethane. The disc brake pads should only be replaced if the friction surface is worn to within 2.0 mm (0.079 in) of the mounting plates. The rotors and pads should be replaced with the updated part number If the pads are out of specification, perform normal Service Information diagnostics to determine the cause of the concern.

If the vehicle?s 7-way connector socket terminals are deformed or have excessive wear, it will be necessary to replace the truck side connector with part number 23404450.

If no or low voltage is found, use the wiring diagram in Service Information and perform normal circuit diagnosis.
