While driving, vehicle lunged forward and engine shut off. Dashboard stated to put in neutral and restart. Pushed automatic start and it clicked for approximately 20 seconds before engine started. Put vehicle in drive and pressed on gas and engine shut off. Put vehicle in park and tried to start again with clicking lasting 20-30 seconds before stopping. The contact owns a 2022 Chevrolet Equinox. The contact stated that after the dealer performed a transmission flush, the check engine warning light intermittently illuminated while driving. Additionally, the steering wheel jerked abnormally, and the radio went blank while driving. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, who was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic, and the engine filter was replaced and another unknown part was also replaced, but the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

Vehicle stalled losing power at highway speeds a total 7 times. Engine light finally came on stating that it is a P025A fuel pump modulator issue. This is a know issue with the year and model I have, yet my VIN was not covered under the recall. Car is a 2022 Chevy Equinox with 26.2k miles. Has been confirmed with dealer. Power loss at such speeds put my family in dangerous situations each time. Scottsdale dealers would not make it a priority so I had to get it back to Yuma. Dealer is making me responsible for bill due to being out of my bumper to bumper regardless of the low mileage. Urged against goodwill warranty exception and given no loaner vehicle. Had the vehicle towed to local dealership.
