SummaryThe MIL is on and/or glow plug light on. DTCs are stored in the ECM. No relevant component or electrical problems are found when Guided Fault Finding (GFF) is run on the stored fault codes. Cars exhibiting the issue outlined in this TSB will also show a pattern in the DTC expanded ambient conditions under the P200200 fault code. Soot mass measured value above 40 g. Soot mass calculated value approximately 30 g. Kilometers since last regeneration value are above 500,000 m. The current ECM software does not accurately detect a momentary rise in DPF backpressure, resulting in a soot overload fault.

SummarySupersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 96 number 13-67 dated July 10, 2013. The customer may report that the handheld transmitter cannot be programmed to the garage door opener control module, J530. The customer?s door opener system may not be compatible with J530. The battery in the handheld transmitter may be too weak for a good signal. The battery charge may be sufficient to operate the garage door opener, but not enough to program the remote transmitter to the vehicle system. The battery in the handheld transmitter may be too weak for a good signal. The battery charge may be sufficient to operate the garage door opener, but not enough to program the remote transmitter to the vehicle system. In A4 model years 2005?2006 and A3 model year 2009, the actual location of the garage door opener control module differs from the location shown in the owner's manual (opposite side of front bumper). The customer may misunderstand the programming procedure, particularly if the customer?s HomeLink® opener system is using an alternate code. The handheld transmitter?s programming function may become inoperative, or the transmitter is too far away from J530. Interference prevents the communication between handheld transmitter and J530. Interference prevents the communication between handheld transmitter and J530. If the vehicle flashes during the programming of a handheld transmitter, this does not necessarily indicate that the programming was successful; it only indicates that the vehicle has recognized and saved a signal.

SummarySupersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 48 number 14-62 dated September 23, 2014. Electrically-adjustable steering column adjustment is restricted and does not adjust vertically. Incorrect operation of Easy Entry is not the cause. It is unlikely that external forces have led to the loss of the stored end positions of the adjustment movement. See TSB 2015819, 48 Easy Entry function of the power adjustable steering column intermittently does not work, for more information. Seat adjustments can be used to maintain the 10-inch minimum recommended distance from the steering wheel in case of airbag deployment. The axial adjustment is still functional during this condition. The steering column may be under tension due to unfavorable tolerances of the steering column and module cross carrier. As a result, the current draw of the regulator motors is above specification, which causes the electric steering column adjustment to fail. Once the vehicle electrical system control module, J519 (address word 09), detects an excessive current draw, the basic settings will be erased. If basic settings are not stored in the vehicle electrical system control module, the module will not send voltage/current to the motor to operate the vertical adjustment.

SummaryThis document contains the Audi pre-delivery inspection checklist. All items must be completed prior to customer delivery by an Audi technician. Audi recommends using an Audi approved battery charger to prevent excessive battery discharge during inspection. ALL PDI function tests must be run in Guided Fault Finding (GFF) only. Do NOT use Guided Functions for any PDI related test as these will not be uploaded to the Paperless Server. Refer to the Special functions tab of ODIS Diagnosis for using GFF for PDI function tests. It is advised to start ODIS with the engine running to enable all 5F Test Plans in GFF and also to ensure SVM sees all control units during the SVM check vehicle configuration. For items marked with *, please refer to the PDI Technician Reference Document posted on ServiceNet for additional information.

SummarySupersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 15-90 dated June 5, 2015. When the vehicle is started, the GPS location or vehicle direction indicated on the MMI navigation map does not match the vehicle?s actual location or direction of travel for a long period of time (often as long as 10 minutes). The issue occurs in open sky, with no large buildings obstructing the sky view. The issue is intermittent, but it can occur for long periods of time during a single day. The issue resolves itself intermittently. The issue typically happens on very warm days when the HVAC system blower is at a medium to high setting (auto or manual), with air being directed out of the panel vents. When the issue occurs, the GPS navigation system satellite reception shows 0 satellites. Due to the infrequency of the issue, this might not be verifiable. (To view the number of satellites being received, go to Nav >> Route >> Select Current Position (first item in list) and scroll up). No DTCs related to the GPS antenna or MMI system are present. The vehicle is an A4 (including S4 and allroad variants), A5 (including Cabriolet, S5, and RS 5 variants), A6 (including S6 variant), A7 (including S7/RS 7 variants), A8 (including long wheelbase, S8, or W12 variants) or Q5 (including SQ5 and hybrid variants). (Q7 and Q3 vehicles are not affected by this condition. See TSB 2030465, 91 MMI3G+ GPS navigation location inaccurate or navigation takes a very long time to acquire location (Q7 or Q3) for Q7 and Q3 vehicles.)

SummarySupersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 87 number 14-49 dated April 25, 2014. Air conditioning is inoperative. The HVAC blower functions normally. Battery discharged; however, when charged, there is no bus silence when vehicle ignition is off. The A/C pressure/temperature sensor, G395, leaks refrigerant. This causes sensor G395 to show an incorrect or implausible value when reading MVBs. An incorrect signal or a low refrigerant level in the system can cause the air conditioning compressor to deactivate. The LIN cable connecting the vehicle electrical system control module, J519, to sensor G395 is pinched or cut. This affects the A4/S4, A5/S5 Coupe and Cabriolet, and Q5 vehicles. The A6 and A8 are not affected by this type of failure. The pressure sensor G395/G65 sends an incorrect signal that prevents bus silence and the battery is discharged. Sensor G395 is a LIN slave of the vehicle electrical system control module. The vehicle electrical system control module transfers the information provided by the sensor via the comfort data bus to the climate control module, J255.

SummaryThe MIL is on. DTCs for misfiring or electric faults for cylinder-specific components on Bank 2 (cylinders 7?12) are stored in the engine control module, J623 (address word 01) or the engine control module 2, J624 (address word 11). In the software for the engine control modules, the assignment of the DTC entries for misfiring or electric faults for cylinder-specific components does not match the cylinder assignment in ElsaPro.
