Nissan is presenting three concept vehicles at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, highlighting performance and customization possibilities. The lineup includes a revival of the Sentra Spec-V, a Z-based SCCA race car, and a Datsun S30 restomod. These Nissan SEMA concepts 2026 aim to engage with the brand's enthusiast base and explore future design directions.

Sentra Spec-V Concept Revival

The Sentra Spec-V concept pays homage to the original Sentra SE-R, which debuted 35 years ago. This concept aims to capture the spirit of the sport compact segment, reflecting its historical significance in the import car scene.

Under the hood, the concept features a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine generating 300 horsepower. It is paired with an upgraded six-speed manual transmission sourced from the Nissan Juke NISMO RS.

Performance enhancements extend to the braking system, which utilizes a Brembo conversion from the GT-R. The suspension is upgraded with custom NISMO coilovers and anti-roll bars, and the vehicle rides on NISMO LM-RS1 19-inch wheels. Interior modifications include GT-R-sourced Recaro front seats, while the exterior features a custom body kit and a GT-R NISMO rear spoiler.

Z Performance Concepts

Nissan is also showcasing two distinct Z concepts. The Project NAT2 SCCA Touring 2 Z was developed by the Nissan Acceleration Team (NAT), a group of employee volunteers involved in motorsports. This Z is engineered for SCCA Touring 2 competition.

The Project NAT2 Z incorporates engine, suspension, and braking system upgrades using a combination of NISMO and aftermarket components to meet SCCA Touring 2 specifications. Its interior has been stripped and fitted with a roll cage and other competition-specific safety equipment.

The second Z concept is a Datsun S30 restomod, a collaboration with Formula Drift champion Chris Forsberg. This build merges the classic S30 body with the modern twin-turbo V6 powertrain from the current Nissan Z.

Forsberg's team enhanced the engine with NISMO parts and replaced several body panels with lightweight carbon fiber. Custom suspension and braking components complete the modern interpretation of the original Z.

SEMA Show Presence and Future Implications

These Nissan SEMA concepts 2026 will be on display at Nissan's booth, #21521, in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center from November 3-6. Another open-top Z concept, the Z Kaze, will also be featured.

While these vehicles are concepts and not intended for production sale, they serve as platforms for exploring new ideas and gathering feedback from the enthusiast community. Nissan has previously drawn inspiration from SEMA concepts for production models, such as the Rock Creek lineup.

Certain Nissan and NISMO accessory parts showcased on these concepts may become available for purchase through Nissan dealerships, allowing owners to personalize their vehicles.

Nissan's presence at SEMA 2026 underscores its engagement with automotive enthusiasts, showcasing how its iconic models like the Sentra and Z continue to inspire customization and performance innovation. The concepts provide a glimpse into potential future directions for the brand's performance offerings and accessory lines.
