The 2027 Lexus RZ all-electric SUV is set to arrive at dealerships early next year with a starting manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $47,495. This new model, assembled at the Motomachi plant in Japan, expands the Lexus electric vehicle lineup with three distinct powertrain options and multiple trim levels. This competitive 2027 Lexus RZ price point positions it as a notable entry in the luxury EV segment.

Powertrain and Performance Options

The 2027 Lexus RZ offers a choice of three powertrains: the RZ 350e FWD, RZ 450e AWD, and the performance-oriented RZ 550e F SPORT AWD. The RZ 350e FWD and RZ 450e AWD models are equipped with a 74.69 kWh battery, while the RZ 550e F SPORT AWD features a slightly larger 76.96 kWh battery.

Output figures include 221 total system horsepower for the RZ 350e FWD, an estimated 308 horsepower for the RZ 450e AWD, and 402 horsepower for the RZ 550e F SPORT AWD. Estimated driving ranges are 301 miles for the RZ 350e FWD (with 18-inch wheels), 260 miles for the RZ 450e AWD (with 18-inch wheels), and 229 miles for the RZ 550e F SPORT AWD (with 20-inch wheels).

Both AWD models utilize Lexus' DIRECT 4 drive force system, which dynamically adjusts power distribution between the front and rear wheels to enhance handling and stability. The RZ 550e F SPORT AWD also includes an M Mode, offering a virtual eight-speed manual shifting experience via paddle shifters.

The vehicle supports Level One and Level Two AC charging with an 11-kWh on-board AC charger. Under ideal conditions, DC fast charging can replenish the battery from 10% to 80% capacity in approximately 30 minutes.

Inside, the RZ comes standard with NuLuxe-trimmed seats, while Luxury and F SPORT grades offer Ultrasuede-trimmed seats. All RZ models include heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and power-adjustable front seats with a Lexus Memory System for the driver.
