To further enhance vehicle security, this new procedure requires connection to a secure SBR server for authentication and to access immobilizer information. An 8-digit âAuthentication Keyâ supplied by SBR will be a required input when working with SSM4. Unlike the previous system where Teaching Codes have been unchanged, the new Authentication Key will change approximately every 6 months. This bulletin will be updated with the latest Authentication Key as it becomes available.

(Subaru) is initiating a Service Program to reprogram the Engine Control Module (ECM) on certain 2019-2020MY Ascent and 2020MY Legacy & Outback vehicles. In some vehicles, the current software may cause the sub learning value control to operate improperly during the wake-up mode of the ECM. This could cause repeated erroneous learning of the accelerator position which can result in the disabling of the VDC function. When the VDC function is disabled, EyeSight, Reverse Automatic Braking (RAB), and Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) auto release functions are disabled by the VDC fail signal causing the VDC, EyeSight, RAB and EPB warning lamps to illuminate. This program affects approximately 115,729 vehicles.

Summary"This Service Information bulletin announces availability of an enhancement to the Gracenote database included in the vehicles listed above equipped with F10 7â Navigation and 7â Display Audio head units. When the user plays a pre-recorded CD, Gracenote recognizes the disc then shows the artist and track name information along with the album cover art on the head unit display (when available). This enhancement brings the currently installed database up to date with the most recent information available. This update does not affect any album art displayed when using SXM."
