NOTE: This revision has an updated and more effective fix for DTC P219B than the prior version. Customers may also comment on one or more of the following: ● **Power Take-Off (PTO) may cancel during engagement with high PTO loads.** ● PTO not auto-resuming after hard-wired remote start (DD/DP Only). ● Engine speed surging, unstable, or oscillating while coasting at low vehicle speeds. ● Stationary Idle PTO feature is not activating when the user configuration is selected to require parking brake be set (DD/DP Only). In addition, the following software enhancement(s) is available: ● Increase the duration that Power Takeoff related messages are displayed on the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) (DD/DP Only) **This bulletin involves inspecting and possibly reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software.**

SummaryFuel Delivery Module Before replacing the fuel module for DTCs P0461 and P062A and other not start, long crank, fuel gauge accuracy and drivability issues, the technician should disconnect the electrical connector at the pump and perform a visual inspection of the connector for and bent, spread, or pushed out terminals. Repair any issues found. Reconnect the plug and perform a push pull push to ensure the connector is fully installed. Then perform 3 keys cycles and listen to hear if the fuel pump is operational. If the fuel pump is heard that indicates that everything is operating correctly. If the pump is heard replacement is not necessary, any replacement will function in the same way.

SummaryCustomer Experience: Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) gauge on the cluster is erratic or has fluctuations. Gauge is displaying a level not representative of what is in the tank. In some cases the level drops below the low level warning and customers gets an EVIC warning. When DEF level is too low the vehicle will be derated to 5 mph after 200 miles of dropping below the low level warning. From MY13 to MY24, the DEF pump had the level sensor integrated into the pump, but this changed for MY25+. In MY25 and beyond the sensor is now welded to the DEF tank. Technicians are replacing DEF pumps for faulty level sensor concerns. Replacing the DEF pump will do nothing to improve issues with the DEF level gauge. DEF pumps being replaced for level sensor/gauge issues has now become one of the most significant warranty issues for the DEF system as a whole. DEF system Eng. team is currently working with Cummins (who owns the PCM) to properly filter the signal sent from the DEF level sensor in the tank, to prevent the erratic gauge readings.

SummaryOn Cummins diesel applications that are for 2019 and newer the bpro part 1BP00507AB can on occasions create a check engine light. In these situations, it is recommended to use the appropriate Mopar air filter originally installed on the vehicle. The "AC" level of the part is in development to resolve this issue. 1BP00507AB should still be usable for 2018 and older Model year Cummins engines.
