The contact owns a 2022 Ram 2500. The contact stated while driving 75 MPH, the “Diesel Exhaust Fluid Low – 5 Miles Before LIMP Mode" message was displayed. The contact stated that the diesel fluid was refilled several times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed that the exhaust fluid was contaminated and that the tank needed to be replaced, and the O-ring seal needed to be replaced. The contact owns a 2022 Ram 2500. The contact stated that while driving and attempting to park, when the brake pedal was depressed, it became spongy and was inoperable. As a result, the contact crashed into a building and damaged the aluminum siding of the building. ODI 11533646 Recall 13A has not been repaired due to local dealer citing no parts available. (Eide Chrysler Bismarck ND). I called Chrysler help line and was told parts were available. I contacted dealer again and was told no parts to repair recall and no idea when they would be available. I can get no resolution through Chrysler or a dealer for this recall. Truck is unsafe to drive or park in my garage due to fire hazard.

VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL
The contact owns a 2022 Ram 2500. The contact stated after he shifted the vehicle from the neutral (n) position of a completed car wash service, he then shifted the vehicle to the drive (d) position when the vehicle inadvertently accelerated at a rapid speed without warning while the brake pedal was depressed. As a result, the vehicle crashed into a nearby gate. No injuries were sustained. No medical attention was required. No police report was filed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer it was diagnosed that either moisture or air that controls the acceleration entered the sensor, but no repair was needed however, the contact stated that the traction-control warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a different dealer where the failure could be duplicated and the contact was informed that an unknown recall had been completed. The contact stated that the traction control warning light was intermittently illuminated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was provided multiple numbers to call but no further assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 19,970.

POWER TRAIN
The transmission feels like it is shifting hard. When you come to a stop and it downshifts from 2nd to 1st sometimes it transfers all the power into 1st gear hard and makes the truck lunge forward as you almost come to a stop. You have to keep your foot firmly planted on the brake as you never know when it’s going to happen. I have the truck for 1.5 years and it’s happened to me about 10 times, very intermittent. I have had the truck in for service x3 times and they could not replicate the issue. There was another NHTSA I suspect had the same issue as me the ID# is 11502531. This person described almost the same issue, and our VIN almost match, and both vehicles were manufactured about the same time in the same location.

Recall inspection of tailgate was performed by Pohanka RAM of Salisbury one month ago (visual inspection). Truck was deemed fine and recall ticket closed. While driving yesterday, the tailgate opened and truck bed contents fell out. Fortunately, vehicle behind swerved and second vehicle behind stopped and blocked roadway and assisted with retrieving contents that fell out.
