SummaryComplaint Possible humming noises from the drivetrain in the area of the rear axle, especially during tight cornering in the lower speed range. Remedy Note: Please follow the instructions in this document. The replacement of components (other than those named for processing) is not effective. Remedy: A test drive must be performed. For accurate analysis (localization) of the noise, the "Steelman Chassis Ear" noise diagnosis kit can be used, for example. If the rear axle differential is unambiguously identified as the cause (noise source), the oil must be replaced. Observe the following: 1. Warm up the oil in the differential by means of a short test drive. 2. Drain the oil from the differential and fill it with new oil according to the parts list in the attachment. Please follow the procedure described in AR.35.31-P-0523OLC. Note: To ensure that the differential is drained as completely as possible, both rear wheels should be rotated slowly 2-3 turns while draining. Make sure that as little residual oil as possible remains in the differential. 3. Please advise the customer that in isolated cases the problem may continue to occur for another 30 to 60 miles after the oil has been replaced. If the problem is still present after the appropriate mileage: • Double check the appropriate mileage was driven. • Repeat the flushing and filling procedure a second time, make sure to properly flush all the diff fluid out • If no change after the second flush and additional mileage. replace the rear diff

SummaryComplaint A pulsating knocking noise (e.g. clattering) can be heard underneath the bench seat, particularly in the case of a full tank (1/1 fill level). Cause The vibrating air column of the purge flow volume triggers the fill limit vent valve (FLVV) to open and close repeatedly when the fuel tank is full. Remedy By reducing the fuel quantity by around 5 liters, the noise can no longer be heard. In isolated cases, the noise can also be amplified by a fuel tank installed under stress and therefore lines adjacent to the body-in-white (above the fuel tank). In this case, the installation position of the fuel tank and the contact surfaces to the body-in-white must be checked. To do so, loosen the fuel tank and refasten it. Please do not replace component parts such as the fuel tank, activated charcoal canister, purge valve or delivery module, as this does not provide a remedy. If a similar noise can be heard with a tank fill level of, for example, 3/4 or 1/4 and not with a full tank (1/1), there is a different issue.

SummaryComplaint One of the flush door handles (Also referred to as Seamless Door Handles) does not extend/retract (and/or) the KeylessGo sensor surfaces do not respond. Cause Multiple possible causes can be inferred from the table, see remedy (additionally as reference table in attachment). Remedy 1) KeylessGo sensor surfaces do not respond. Door handles can extend/retract if the key is used for locking/unlocking. No particular fault code. Perform an A17/x (handle controller) reset via XENTRY (for example see attachment - under actuations tab for A17/x controller) -> add-on is available (add-on 32204 for XENTRY version 06/25) Please use one of the following damage codes: 8213H; 82197; 8213K; 82198 2) Surface-flush door handle fails to retract and/or extend One or more of the following fault codes are current and stored: B185D96; B185E96; B186196; B186296 A control unit event log for the component part concerned (A17/x) must be created and the following values checked in the "Component Errors" section: Motor_bridge_connection_fatal_error = True (for example, see attachment) OR Motor_bridge_wrong_direction_fatal_error = True (for example, see attachment) If one of the values is "True": Perform an SCN coding on the door handle A17/x via XENTRY -> add-on is available (add-on 32280 for XENTRY version 06/25) The faults must be deleted after SCN coding. Please use one of the following damage codes: 80A0F; 80N0F; 80N0G; 80A0G 3) Surface-flush door handle fails to retract and/or extend One or more of the following fault codes are current and stored: B185D96; B185E96; B186196; B186296 A control unit event log for the component part concerned (A17/x) must be created and the following value checked in the "Component Errors" section: Motor_init_error_for_sensors = True (for example, see attachment) If the value is "True" Bearing bracket must be replaced. Please use one of the following damage codes: 80A0F; 80N0F; 80N0G; 80A0G 4) Surface-flush door handle fails to retract and/or extend The fault code B185911 is stored in the DCU (N69/X). The motor resistance is too low. Bearing bracket must be replaced. Please use one of the following damage codes: 80A0D; 80N0D; 80N0E; 80A0E If after the remedy points above are performed and the problem is still present, then please create a TIPS case and direct to the Body/Chassis/Entertainment inbox. Include your control unit logs, photos/videos, and quick tests to show diagnosis performed thus far. -> In this case, store the damaged parts for further analyses.

SummaryComplaint The customer complains about squeaking/creaking noises on uneven roadways, on bends or when moving in their seat. Cause Noise in the backrest adjustment mechanism Remedy The adjustment mechanism is treated with dry lubricant spray A000 989 35 60 to rectify the noise. To do this, proceed as follows: • Move the seat to the front position and put the backrest into a lying position. • Due to the risk of soiling on the left and right under the adjustment mechanism, cover and protect the area. • Spray into the gap of the left and right adjustment mechanism with dry lubricant spray from above. • If the noise persists, then repeat the process. Enough dry lubricant spray must be used Then wait 15 minutes and leave the seat in this position! Only then adjust the seat into the sitting position. Note: Both front seats must always be treated!
