SummarySome vehicles may exhibit an interference between the front (1) and the rear door bright window glass molding (2) due to the bright window glass molding shifting backward when opening/closing the front door. This is caused by an inappropriate position of the positioning tab on the front door glass run-channel. To eliminate this concern, double-sided tape has been added to the front door glass run-channel, and the shape of the rear end of the front door glass run-channel has been modified to prevent the bright window glass molding from shifting. Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure. REPAIR PROCEDURE 1. Verify the customer concern. 2. Replace the front glass run-channel(s) with a modified one(s) according to the instructions in MGSS (FRONT DOOR GLASS RUN-CHANNEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION). NOTE: Repair only the side with the issue. ATTENTION: Removing the front beltline moldings is unnecessary for this repair procedure when replacing the front door glass run-channel. 3. Verify the repair.

SummaryThis bulletin supersedes the previously issued bulletin(s) listed below. The changes are noted in Red. 09-019/25 04/15/25 Some vehicles equipped with the Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS) may exhibit the exterior light warning light/exterior light warning indication on while driving or when the ignition is turned on and DTC B10A3:86 (Error signal received from swivel actuator (LH)) stored in memory. NOTE: The combination light with AFS can be distinguished if it is equipped with the parking light/daytime running light (DRL) that illuminates while the ignition is turned on. This may be caused by the AFS Control Module detecting a false headlight malfunction. This concern will likely occur when the light returns to the center position after swiveling. To eliminate this concern, the control software of the AFS control module has been further modified.

To eliminate this concern, the material of the coolant reserve tank (sub) will be modified.

SummarySome vehicles may exhibit a clicking noise from the liftgate lock striker when driving on bumpy roads. This may be caused by stick-slip friction between the lock striker and the lock actuator due to the electrodeposition layer peeling off from the friction between them. To eliminate this concern, the lock striker coating has been changed to prevent coating wear.

SummaryOn some vehicles, an engine oil leak from the rear of the engine at the turbocharger drain back tube could be be confused as an oil leak from behind the bell housing. The bolt holes for the drain back tube to the block are drilled through to the inside of the engine and thread sealer was not properly applied to the bolts threads, causing oil to leak past the threads. NOTE: The WSM was updated to show these bolts are a to be replaced if removed. New bolts will have thread sealer already applied.

SummarySome vehicles may exihibit a vibration in the accelerator pedal and steering wheel when accelerating during a sharp left-hand turn. An abnormal noise may also be heard from the footwell area. This may be caused by insufficient clearance between the engine mount stopper rubber and the engine mount bracket. Customer may state: - Vehicle shudders/vibrates on left turns, most often when accelerating from a stop or entering a driveway. - They feel a pop or grind in the accelerator pedal when the vibration occurs. - They hear a rumbling or grinding noise, mainly from the right side, during the left-turn shudder. NOTE: The condition does not occur at shallow steering angles or when the vehicle is stationary and the steering effort remains unchanged when the vibration and noise are present.

SummaryThere are currently 2 methods for cutting a new auxiliary key blank. A. Auxiliary Key Trace Cut Method • B. Auxiliary Key Code Cut Method 2019 and newer models require a 10-digit key code to accurately cut keys • 5-digit codes CANNOT be provided for 2019 and newer vehicles (the traditional 5-digit code from the key tag or driver's door lock cylinder is not sufficient and will not be issued for key cutting on these models). • Only Mazda-approved key cutting machines can process these 10-digit codes. • Many older key machines do not support 10-digit codes and cannot be updated to do so. In these cases, dealers will need to purchase one of the newer Mazda-approved key cutting machines capable of handling this requirement. • For a list of current Mazda-approved machines and purchasing options, refer to the Mazda Dealer Equipment Program or view the current Mazda approved key machines below.

SummarySome vehicles may exhibit a key-in lock situation when the speed-sensitive door lock activates unexpectedly while idling in the P-range. This may be caused by the noise generated by the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) wheel speed sensor being mistakenly recognized as a vehicle speed pulse. To eliminate this concern, the IC chip in the ABS wheel speed sensor has been modified.

SummaryThere are wrinkles on the leather seat cushion and/or seat back surface at PDI, when new vehicle is delivered, or when new upholstery is installed under Warranty repair. NOTE: This repair is not a permanent fix, it is meant to make new seats look their best when the vehicle is first presented to the customer. Wrinkles may not be completely removed after the repair is completed. Leather is a natural material and may develop some wrinkles due to aging and wear during normal usage.
