SummarySome vehicles may have one of the following DTCs stored in memory along with a system status notice on the Multi-information display OR display a system status notice with no DTC: C1001:92 - Forward sensing camera (FSC) poor field of view [Gen 6 vehicles], B14F0:92 - General temporary failure in forward sensing camera (FSC) [Gen 7 vehicles build on or before March 2, 2019], No DTC - Gen 7 vehicles built after March 2, 2019, DTC C1001:92 or B14F0:92 set as a past record for low visibility of the Forward Sensing Camera (FSC). It does not mean there is an actual FSC defect. In some cases the customer may have a concern with the Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) and/or High Beam Control system (HBC). In other cases this DTC might be found without a related customer concern.

SummarySome customers may experience the airbag warning light ON with DTC B00A0:09 stored in the SAS control module memory when the battery voltage is low. DTC B00A0:09 (Occupant classification sensor internal signal output unstable). This concern is caused by the low voltage detection time of the occupant classification sensor (OCS) being too short during cranking, which causes detection of the DTC unnecessarily. The concern occurs more often in colder weather when greater electric current is consumed to start the vehicle. To eliminate this concern, the OCS has been modified to avoid unnecessary DTC detection.

As shared previously, due to planned industry-wide changes in mobile network infrastructure and wireless technology, the Mazda Mobile Start (MMS) accessory was no longer offered beginning with 20MYvehicles. These technology changes are scheduled to occur in late 2021 as our service provider transitions away from a 3G network which currently supports the MMS application and its vehicle operations for all active legacy accounts. As a result, the MMS application and its vehicle operations will no longer work after September 30. 2021 for these legacy accounts and their respective vehicle owners. In an effort to provide advance notice and be transparent, and also to lessen the inconvenience of this situation - On 11/12/2020, all active MMS account holders will be informed of this news and will be presented with their choice of one of following goodwill offers: A new, replacement remote-engine start system (key fob transmitter type), Installation of Apple CarPlay / Android Auto, A $1000 voucher towards the purchase or lease of a new Mazda vehicle

This odor is the result of mold growth in the A/C evaporator/cooling unit which is caused by condensation, dust, and pollen within the cooling unit. This condition is usually worse during high humidity conditions. âÂÂMazda Air Cooling Coil Coatingâ is available to encapsulate the mold to reduce odors. If the product is properly applied, it can effectively reduce the musty/mildew odor for up to three years.
