Kia America, Inc. (Kia) is recalling certain 2023 Soul, Sportage, and 2023-2024 Seltos vehicles. The electronic controller for the Idle Stop & Go oil pump assembly may contain damaged electrical components that can cause the pump to overheat.
Kia America, Inc. (Kia) is recalling certain 2023 Sportage, Sportage Hybrid, Sportage Plug-in Hybrid, Niro Hybrid, Niro Plug-in Hybrid, Soul, and Telluride vehicles equipped with a digital instrument cluster containing a 4.2" LCD screen. The instrument cluster may fail to display any information when the vehicle is started. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 101, "Control and Displays," and 138, "Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems."
While driving the engine started shaking and smoke blew out from the tailpipe and then the vehicle stalled. I brought it in and the same thing happened on the way home from the dealership after it was supposedly fixed.

My brakes failed to stop my car I was driving down [XXX]. I went to brake because I was going to slow down cause I was just over the speed limit and my brakes went all the way to the floor and I I could not stop the car with the brakes , so I pulled over to the side and slowly came to a halt. I was so shook up. I do not know if I put it in neutral or put it in a lower gear or if I just coasted to a stop. I ended up hitting a guard rail and that slowed me down, but I still went down the guard rail it basically cut a lot of the right side of my car. See the photos below for damages. I’d been trying to start the car as I would have been able to drive to work. I tried to start the car, but it would not because the gas-pedal went all the way to the floor i found out that there is a break interlock system that prevents it from starting when there is no brakes,then got my cell phone, called the police and had them write out a report. I then called a tow truck and they tow it to caliber collision in [XXX]. They told me they moved it three times but they didn’t tell me how they moved it, but I can’t believe they could’ve started it so they must’ve had it pulled to a different area so they couldn’t work on it. I am still waiting to have the car working order. I hear that you’re gonna need the black box but I have no idea what that entails. I did talk to the police and they looked at it. They really couldn’t tell what happened but they knew I could not get it driven the tow truck driver had to pull it up on the tow truck to caliber collision said they did inspect it and couldn’t find anything wrong but I find it very hard to believe there were no warning signs or lights came on. My wife did drive it the night before and heard a loud sound windshield applied the brakes, but but made it into the garage and stop I then went to work and that’s when it all failed. It appears to get really hot and then it starts to smoke abundantly. And then the car struggles to drive forward. And something about instrument cluster

I will be accelerating and the car will on occasion start to sputter like it is going to die and loose power on me. It has done it three different times the last time it through a code on my OBD monitor read it and said P0304 the 4th cylinder is misfiring. I took it in and they couldn't see the code or even the history of there being a code thrown. Please help my ladst car that did this needed to have the engine replaced and is recall was issued after we sold it to a junk yard, and I can't afford that again.

While driving an alarm noise sounds and on the dash a message will appear stating engine off put car in p or n and I cannot accelerate.
