There was a warranty extension for carbon buildup on the fuel injectors and I have taken my car to Honda twice to get the carbon removed and the software updated to fix the problem of multiple codes coming up. I took the car on Friday September 19, 2025 and I picked up the car at 3:30pm in September 20th. The person assisting me said they removed the buildup and fixed the software but at 11pm on the 20th, all the light came back on, indicating the problem was not fixed. I drove about 75 miles after getting my car back when the problem happened again. This has been incredibly unsafe for multiple reason. 1. When all the car dash indicators turn on, you can’t tell what the tire pressure is and if there are any problems. I have been having to manually check the tire pressure every few weeks because this is an ongoing problem and it causes the tire pressure gauge to not work 2. Because this is ongoing, you cannot reset the oil change maintenance indicator, so it is much harder to track when an oil change was last done. This has caused me to miss vital maintenance required to keep the car running well. 3. It is incredibly inconvenient to have to take the car to be fixed for the same problems multiple times. It costs consumers vital time, and potentially money without seeing any actual improvements. Although the diagnostics fee has been waived, having to potentially pay up to $200 in diagnostic fees makes consumers like me not want to take it for fear that may be very costly to even have them take a look at the car, thus making it less likely people will take the car in for necessary and important safety fixes. If you would like to see any records or inspection the vehicle, please feel free to reach out. The only fix I have been offered is to replace the fuel injectors for $1600, without any guarantee that it would fix the problem. I also took this matter up with Honda corporate, without any real solutions and there are multiple reports online of repeat problems.

On [XXX], I Down payment for the purchase of a 2010 Honda Fit, for $6,258.00 with 24 Ford of Easton, 703 Washington St., South Easton, MA 02375. License Motor Dealer , On [XXX], the TMPS dashboard light was on...Ford replaced them, but as presently ([XXX]) light is still on, they told me TMPS would go off after I drove car around. April 19, 2025, Last TMPS sensor was put on a 4th tire, I was in the car repair area and noticed a broken Sway Bar Link and a Bubble & Cracks on tire, Ford noticed it but did not offer to fix it and let me drive off dealership lot with broken Sway Bar and bad tire. It was negligent, and UNSAFE TO DRIVE. 30 day Lemon Law Ended on [XXX]. Also, there was a RECALL FOR A DRIVESHAFT, WHICH I FOUND OUT VIA THE INTERNET. On May 13, 2025 I went to a Honda Dealership and they replaced the DRIVESHAFT. I went to AXP Repair Shop to get SWAY BAR LINK fixed, and a new tire, which cost me $250.00. 24 Ford did not inspect my car until March 14, 2025 after they replaced the last Tire Sensor. Since the TMPS light was on they didn't even put a REJECT INSPECTION on my car window and let me drive it without any Sticker. They put my life and others at risk of a fatal accident, negligent in letting me drive off their FORD DEALERSHIP LOT WITH A BROKEN SWAY BAR LINK AND BUBBLE/CRACKS ON TIRE. Everything is very RUSTY under the car carriage. I do not feel safe driving car. I call it a deathtrap. Also per Carfax it was parked someplace for a year 01/01/2024 - 01/01/2025. 24 FORD OUT IT UP FOR SALE 01/2025. THEY DIDN'T DO ANY ROUTINE OIL CHANGE, DIRTY AIR FILTERS. AXP and Honda told me I need $2,000.00 - $4,000.00 worth of repairs to make car safe. FORD BROUGHT IT AT AN AUCTION. I was really scammed by the DECEPTIVE PRACTICES and LIES. I need to get this information out to the Public and I am trying to get my money back and return the Savage car back to Jon yes Easton Motor Cars, 703 Washington St. South Easton, MA. The fuel gauge in the gauge cluster turns on and off unexpectedly and without reason for extended periods of time. The gauge will also do what I like to call hieroglyphic numbers, essentially unreadable lettering clearly due to an electrical malfunction. This is very distracting as a driver and has put me in a very near death experience from the fault. This problem makes it impossible to read the fuel quantity during or before operation of the vehicle. It has been confirmed by dealer that the fault is due to a damaged solder and has been clear that this is a common issue with most Honda fits.

Purchased new 2019 Honda FIT. Had to have injectors replaced at dealership due to issues at 18,000 miles. At 19,743 miles started having driving issues with unusual jumping during driving/idling. Honda dealership diagnosed as misfire with excessive carbon buildup. Completed carbon cleaning procedure though only temporary repair. American Honda reviewing matter reference #4411584. Issues returned at 40,308 miles with same issues ( all lights going off on dash, carbon buildup in injectors). completed carbon cleaning at dealership. At 44,831 same lights went off again, carbon buildup seen, faulty injectors replaced at dealership. Issues continued at 56,649 where carbon cleaning took place again for issue at dealership. at 86,606 check engine lights returned with jumping, faulty injectors replaced again and a cleaning was performed at dealership. at 113,791 miles, issues came up again. Dealership cleaned again with carbon cleaner. American Honda contacted again after last dealership visit #15755510 with American Honda rep stating there is no solution at this point per Honda engineers.

Vehicle has less than 16k miles over 6 years of ownership. One day, upon starting the car, multiple warning lights, including check engine light, appeared. Dealer stated after diagnostic that issue is due to misfire in one cylinder due to carbon buildup. This is a known issue with this model, and several repair bulletins have been made about this specific issue. Certain VINs were given an extended warranty to fix this problem, but despite having this exact issue and my VIN being mentioned in the repair bulletin, my car is not covered, forcing me to pay out of pocket for this known issue. Car is deemed not safe to drive by dealer until issue is remedied.

White paint is peeling badly and causing body of vehicle to corrode and rust. It is primary occurring on the roof of the vehicle, where the white paint is peeling off in sheets. I have reported this to Honda corporate through their customer service phone number. I have also made Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg aware of the problem. There was a previous recall for identical peeling white paint issues that was extended to cover 2018 white Honda Fit vehicles, but the 2019 white paint clearly has the same issue. The paint is defective and leads to significant premature body damage.

- #11680999August 15, 2025FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, LANE DEPARTURE: ASSIST
Component/System Involved: The multi-purpose camera system on my 2018 Honda Fit has malfunctioned, disabling critical safety features such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS), and Collision Braking Warning System (CBWS). Safety Risk: The failure of these systems creates significant safety risks. Without ACC, the vehicle cannot maintain a safe distance from other vehicles. The LKAS no longer provides steering assistance to help stay in the lane, and the CBWS cannot detect or warn of potential collisions. These malfunctions increase the likelihood of accidents, especially during highway driving or in heavy traffic. Problem Reproduction and Confirmation: The issue has been reproduced and confirmed by Norm Reeves Honda Cerritos during an inspection on 8/13/25. Inspection Details: The vehicle has been inspected by a dealer/service center, which diagnosed the problem. However, the manufacturer has not offered a resolution, nor has the vehicle been inspected by police, insurance representatives, or other parties. Warning Indicators: Before the failure, warning messages appeared on the dashboard, including alerts for ACC, LKAS, and CBWS system malfunctions. These warnings initially appeared on 8/12/25 and became more frequent over time. I believe this issue may be a design or manufacturing defect affecting other vehicles of the same make and model. I urge the NHTSA to investigate this matter to determine if it represents a broader safety concern.

Paint has peeled extensively allowing for rust to form to roof and hood, which I suspect is a defect as opposed to natural wear. Similar Fits of white color have an existing class action lawsuit. This is for blue color.

Purchased car on March 4, 2025. Noticed TMPS dashboard light was on, returned 3/5/2025, Ford replaced tire senor, light was still on, they replaced 4 tire senors. But did not replace all untill 4/19/2024, that is when I noticed a bubble and crack on tire and a BROKEN SWAY BAR LINK. ALSO THEY DID NOT INSPECT MY CAR WITHIN 7 DAYS, THEY INSPECTED IT ON 3/14/2025. NO REJECTION STICKER PUT ON, SO I was DRIVING THE CAR HONDA WITHOUT ANY STICKER UNTIL THEY REPLACED ANOTHER SENOR. TOLD ME THE TMPS light would go off after I drove the car around. 24 Ford of South Easton of Easton, MA sold me a 2010 Honda Fit that has a DriveShaft recall for corrosion. Also, faulty tire senors, replaced but Dashboard TMPS light is still on, lied about giving me a new tire, tire has bubbles on it and they put tire on rim facing in toward car wheel hub so it won't be visible, I noticed this and a broken Sway Bar Link. Ford let me drive an unsafe car off the lot. They didn't Offer to fix it, I went to AXP Auto , paid $183.00 to fix the Sway Bar Link, then to a tire Shop to get a new tire . I went to Honda Dealership and they replaced the DRIVESHAFT AND GAVE ME A $2000.00 ESTIMATE OF SAFETY REPAIRS THAT NEED TO BE FIXED. Six weeks after I brought car, Transmission Engine light is constantly on...many other thing wrong. Axle Shaft R&R, front pads and rotor, 4 tires, Dirty Air Filter, old oil filter black oil. Now Transmission Pressure Senor needs replacement. List is long. AXP Auto also gave me a $2,000.00 quote on repairs, transmission fluid pressure switch gasket, etc. steering TIE RODS, REPLACE BRAKES. THIS HONDA FIT IS A DEATHTRAP AND I AM SCARED TO DRIVE IT. 24 FORD SHOULD HAVE REPLACED DRIVESHAFT BEFORE I PURCHASED CAR. THEY SWINDLED ME on THE SALES CONTACT AS I DIDN'T KNOW THEY CHARGED ME $6200.00 IN WARRANTY, I WAS ABLE TO CANCEL ONE WARRANTY TOTAL OF $2000.00, AS T DIDN'T COVER BRAKES AND OTHER REPAIRS, SUCH AS POWERTRAIN. OFFERED NO GAP TO ME. 24 FORD is BAD.

Woke up [XXX] to a flat tire. Filled the tire and heard a hiss. We took the vehicle to NTB in Wellsburg, WV where we bought the tires. After inspection we were told two tires had "bubbles" and needed to be replaced (picture of front passenger side attached). We have ordered new Goodyears that will be here in 2 days. Side Note: we had to buy groceries, so we drove the car slowly yo Walmart in Steubenville, OH where the front tire failed. AAA (DCP Automotive) came and changed the tire/doughnut. The problem I have is: There is 3 recalls for my vehicle. One is the urgent as Takata airbags installed. I called local Honda dealer on 6/27/25, they order the part and I received the email stating that part arrived. I called dealer today to schedule a replacement. When I ask how long it will take, lady say about 1/2 day. When I ask if Honda will give me car to drive in that time, she stated No., but I can rent a vehicle for $75. Dealers name: Gary Smith Honda, 225 Miracle Strip SW, Fl., 32548. Is it safe to drive this car?

I am reporting a known paint defect involving the White Orchid Pearl paint on my 2018 Honda Fit. The paint has begun to peel and delaminate, particularly on the roof and other panels, exposing bare metal. As a result, the exposed areas are now beginning to rust. Honda issued a Service Bulletin covering this issue for seven years from the original in-service date. However, I am not the original owner, and by the time I discovered the issue, the paint had already begun to deteriorate, and I was told I do not qualify for coverage under the extended paint warranty. This defect appears to be a manufacturer issue related specifically to the White Orchid Pearl paint, which has been widely reported on multiple Honda and Acura models. Honda is aware of this problem but has not offered consistent support to all affected vehicles and owners, especially those who are second-hand buyers, despite the fact that the defect originated from factory-applied paint and is unrelated to ownership. I believe this issue warrants further investigation due to the frequency of complaints, the potential for structural corrosion, and the financial burden on owners. I urge the NHTSA to formally investigate and consider action that will compel Honda to support all affected vehicles, regardless of ownership history. Photos of damage and rust progression are available upon request.
