This recall has been open for Almost 6 months. The 2020 Dodge charger SRT (specific trim) on NHTSA site shows zero open recalls. But then the vin shows 1 recall which has been open for 6months. I am told by the dealer the SRT trim for it does not have a recall as even NHTSA shows 2020 Dodge Charger SRT (0 recalls) . Please update this to reflect my vin with no open recalls as it is affecting my work and business with it being either reported incorrectly and not being resolved for almost 6 months now. Greatly appreciate your help.

The contact owned a 2020 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that while driving at 12 MPH and attempting to complete a right turn, the vehicle suddenly began to jerk left to right. As a result, the contact briefly lost control of the vehicle, coming to a complete stop after colliding with a pole that pierced through the vehicle and protruded out from the center console. Upon exiting the vehicle, the contact observed flames emanating from the engine compartment. Local fire services were not called, as the fire had dissipated on its own. The vehicle was towed to a tow yard and deemed a total loss by the contact's insurance provider. A fire report was not filed. A police report was filed, and injuries were reported. The contact transported himself to an area hospital and was treated for a minor concussion and a laceration to his left leg. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was opened. Dodge has acknowledged a known issue impacting paddle shift equipped Chargers and Challengers. When using paddle shifters, the engine will downshift when the driver upshifts, sometimes causing torque jerking and acceleration jumps. Dodge says the issue is that the driver is shifting faster than the computer is processing the shift, which is absurd. Beyond the obvious hazard this creates, it's also causing unnecessary wear on the engine due to over revving. This is a major safety concern.
