Flash: 2.4L Powertrain Diagnostic and System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest available software. A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) set in the PCM memory: 2015 UF Vehicles with (sales codes ED6 or ED8), built on or before April 6, 2015 (MDH 0406XX). ? Improve cold engine idle, reduce idle flare up (ED6 only). ? P2172 - High Airflow/Vacuum Leak Detected. ? P1D73 - AGS Performance. ? U0140 - Lost Communication With Body Control Module. ? P0441 - Evap Purge System Performance. ? P0116 - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 1 Performance . ? Rearview Camera image appears jittery. ? Inability to establish a WiFi connection when security feature is enabled. ? Audio distortion/popping heard while playing Apple devices through the USB port. ? Remote Uconnect Apps functions (i.e. door locks, remote start) inoperative while the engine is running. ? The Radio may switch from SiriusXM to an AM station by itself. ? Uconnect registration always present, can not remove Uconnect account. ? Teleprompter does not appear when pressing the Voice Recognition (VR) button. ? VR operation cancels while in media mode. ? Radio may display previous cameras image before displaying the current image. ? Navigation lost vehicle position, during route calculation. ? A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination on vehicles equipped with a 948TE 9 speed automatic transmission (sales code DFH or DFJ). Upon further investigation, a technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) stored in the TCM memory. ? P0887 - TCM Power Control Circuit High ? P0711 - Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor A Circuit Range-Performance ? P1DAD - Input Shaft-Output Shaft Direction Correlation In addition to addressing the above DTCs, this TCM calibration update is being released to enable the new wiTECH based ?Transmission Quick Learn? procedure to be performed anytime the transmission adaptation memory cells are cleared or when addressing customer concerns of poor shift quality. It is also being released to improve transmission downshift response time during normal driving.
