General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2010-2016 Cadillac SRX and 2011-2012 Saab 9-4X vehicles. The rear suspension toe link adjuster may not have been tightened properly, which could result in a loose toe link.
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2015 Cadillac SRX vehicles manufactured November 11, 2014, to December 3, 2014. The front driver's seat may have been built with an incorrect seat track bracket. Drivers' seats with this condition may not be properly attached to the seat track.
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2010-2015 Cadillac SRX vehicles manufactured April 14, 2009, to September 1, 2014, and 2011-2012 Saab 9-4X vehicles manufactured February 1, 2011, to September 13, 2011. On the affected vehicles, the jam nut in the rear suspension toe adjuster link may not be torqued to the proper specification. A loose toe adjuster link can cause the vehicle to sway or wander at highway speeds. A loose toe adjuster link may lead to thread damage and eventual failure. Failure of the toe adjuster link will cause an abrupt change in the vehicle's alignment.
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2011-2012 Buick LaCrosse, Regal and Chevrolet Camaro, as well as certain 2010-2012 Cadillac SRX, Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain vehicles, equipped with power height adjustable driver and passenger seats. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who determined that the brakes, transmission fluid, TPMS sensor, radiator fluid, and front-driver’s air bag needed to be replaced. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V329000 (Air Bags); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure by phone. The failure mileage was 138,199.

Started hearing sounds on both sides of the car while driving. A sound that got louder the faster we went. Driving home on a 65 mile journey, about 12 miles from the house the ABS, Brake, and traction control lights all came on and stayed on. The car felt like it was much harder to drive. Pulled over safely and picked up the manual. Not much in there. Did a quick search on the web and found that this issue seems to be a long standing issue for my model car but that I could try to drive it home but do so with extra caution it don’t drive if the roads were wet. Roads were dry. Made it home and started checking fuses, battery, brake fluid and such Finding all apparently working. Took the car to a service center and explained the problem. He shook his head and said it’s likely the EBCM (electronic brake control module) and that he’s seen lots of them come in. He continued that the issue is that GM has discontinued the EBCM for that car and others. I asked him to run diagnostics and provide me with the codes shown. Unfortunately he was spot on when I saw the print out showing code u056D Brake control module failure. He goes on to say that parts can be hard to find. Checked with Cadillac and sure enough they don’t make the part any longer and as such I’m on my own. They could offer me a discount on a trade in but cannot fix the car. For real? When the EBCM goes out it’s designed to limit some of the vehicle controls like braking and traction control. Why no recall? Why create a safety issue that you are unwilling to fix. My wife has to drive 65 miles to help her 86 year old mom but this car is now very limited and not safe. My repair shop called and he found a used replacement at $900 not including the $700 price of reprogramming the VIN into the module and installing the part. Seems a recall should be implemented with Cadillac finding a reasonable solution for their customers. Without repair the car is not safe.

The contact owns a 2012 Cadillac SRX. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V473000 (Suspension) and had the recall service completed. Approximately six months after the repair was performed, the contact observed that the two rear wheels appeared misaligned relative to the front wheels. The contact also observed severe inner tread wear on the rear tires. The contact believed that the dealer failed to perform a full wheel alignment during the initial recall repair. The dealer was notified of the failure, and the contact requested confirmation that the wheel alignment was performed; however, the dealer was unable to provide the confirmation. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 114,401.

Experiencing repeated inner wear on rear tires only after N212340980 Safety Recall - Rear Toe Link Separation was performed. New set of Michelan Cross Climate 2 tires installed two months prior to recall. Approximately 17,000 miles after recall, rear tires presented severe inner wear with cords exposed. Rear tires replaced and first alignment attempted where it was determined there is no point of adjustment for the rear toe. Approximately 18,000 miles later during a rotation service, the inner tread of both rear tires were at 0% resulting in the tire rotation being canceled and the warranty voided. Took vehicle to previous tire shop for rear suspension parts and bushings inspection. No issues found. Section of cord showing on rear driver's tire. Second alignment performed with camber adjustment only. Secondary inspection performed by mechanic shop with no rear suspension structural issues found. Lack of adjustability on the rear suspension suspected cause of extreme wear. Contacted Cadillac Customer Care for resolution. Dealership diagnosis required before opening claim. Dealership recorded diagnosis as no visible components to cause tire wear. Alignment out of specs. Recommended replacing rear tires and 4 wheel alignment with alignment check after 5,000 miles. Left rear cord exposed, not safe to drive. (Previous alignment performed 100 miles prior.) Opened claim with Cadillac Customer Care and submitted supporting documentation and photos. Included concern of slight shift? of driver's side rear when merging onto interstate with wet road conditions. Previously attributed to difference in tread of new directional tires. Awaiting acceptable resolution.

I have taken my car to 3 different dealerships. Plus a transmission shop due to the vehicle do a jerk after it get hot sometimes. I was told the codes that were given to me that I needed a new transmission. I took it the vehicle to a GMC dealership first and was told my car was Cadilliac made and to take it to Cadillac dealership. So I drove 45 minutes to the dealership and paid another diagnostic fee and told it was old codes and they cleared those out . I came back two weeks later with this same issue. Since no one can tell me the issues with my vehicle I'm very concern about this jerk that the car does. it feels like when I go to stop the back of the car still wants to keep going. And each dealership states there's nothing wrong with my brakes or rotors. Please help me.
