SummarySome customers may complain about frequent low battery warning message appearing in the instrument cluster. The warning message appears when the power saving mode is activated to avoid a drained battery. Depending on the customer usage, the warning message may appear more frequently due to the condition for the power saving mode to be activated sooner and to be deactivated later. To eliminate this concern, the control software of the BCM has been modified to change the condition for the power saving mode to be activated and deactivated. *Activation of the power saving mode: The accumulated time 30 minutes has been extended to 90 minutes. *Deactivation of the power saving mode: Driving or engine running for 5 minutes has been shortened to 3 seconds.

SummarySome vehicles may exhibit water leaking into the passenger compartment from the rear door through the bottom of the service hole behind the rear door trim during rain or when washing the vehicle. This is caused by one of the following: *Since the material of the seal rubber is not resistant to surfactants, the rubber deteriorates when the vehicle is washed and allows water to penetrate into the seal rubber of the service hole cover. *The lower tabs of the service hole cover may not have been completely engaged at the factory. To eliminate this concern, the seal material of the service-hole cover has been changed (Japan built Mazda3) and a mass production change will be implemented in the future (Mexico built Mazda3 and CX-30).
