Summary2022-2023 Lincoln Aviator vehicles equipped with multi-contour front seats have driver seat control module G (SCMG) and passenger seat control module H (SCMH) seat modules available separately at a lower level service part from the seat back frame (5461018/7861018/7861019). If diagnosis determines that replacement of either multi-contour front seat module is required, it is not necessary to replace the complete seat back frame. Refer to the service part catalog for the correct front seat module part number (14F548/14F549) and Workshop Manual (WSM) Section 501-10A for replacement procedures.

SummarySome 2020-2023 Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with a telematic control unit (TCU) may exhibit inoperative remote features via Ford Pass/Lincoln Way mobile app, incomplete user authorization, and/or modem electronic serial number (ESN) could not be displayed in the center display screen. To correct this condition prior to programming, remove the TCU fuse for 5-minutes then reinstall. Delete all previous session files for the vehicle. Start a new Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) session. Perform a TCU provisioning and Program the TCU to the latest FDRS version level. If the concern is still present, follow normal diagnostics in Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 415-00. Refer to PTS OASIS home page for TCU version identification. For claiming, use causal part 14G229 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

Also, ambient lighting may be inoperative or always on. If this concern occurs, check the center console cup holder area for evidence of liquid intrusion first. Liquid can short the local interconnect network (LIN) circuit. Temporarily disconnect the console inline connector(s) during diagnosis to isolate circuit shorts. Search Wiring Diagram (WD) for *cup holder ambient* to display the related connectors. If a short is found in cup holder ambient light ring light emitting diode (LED) connector, repair as necessary. If no evidence of liquid intrusion is found, continue with normal Workshop Manual (WSM) diagnostics.

To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to verify the correct parts are installed in the vehicle and the software is correct.

If the cooling system becomes contaminated with ATF, the system must be flushed clear of the contamination after the source of the contamination has been repaired. It is generally not necessary to replace the following components due to ATF contamination in the cooling system: radiator, heater core, de-gas bottle, water pump, auxiliary water pump, coolant control valves, temperature sensors, thermostat, turbocharger, heat exchangers, tubes, gaskets/O-rings/seals (unless removed), or rubber coolant hoses (unless swollen).

SummarySome 2017-2022 Ford/Lincoln customers may experience a notification in the FordPassÃÂÃÂÃÂî/LincolnWayÃÂÃÂÃÂî app indicating Vehicle Has Entered Deep Sleep Mode. This occurs when the vehicle has not been started for 14 consecutive days, battery voltage is at/below 9.5 volts or the body control module (BCM) 12 volt battery state of charge (SOC) drops below 50%. A warning may also set if the telematic control unit (TCU) has received an over the air update. The TCU powers down all communication when in this mode and app features are disabled. Manually start the vehicle to wake if from mode. More information is located in the app under: Account > Help > search 'Deep Sleep' in the entry box. If the condition remains, check the BCM 12v SOC. If the SOC does not change after charging the battery or after BMS reset is performed, continue with normal battery and/or BMS sensor diagnostics.
