Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find the following DTCs have been set:P1523-00 - VVA Low Oil Pressure. P1524-00 - Oil Pressure Out Of Range - Camshaft Advance/Retard Disabled. P1D7F-00 - ETC Self-Learning Failure. P0141 - O2 Sensor 1/2 Heater Performance. Some customers may experience one or more of the following conditions:Cruise control will not set at 32 kph (20 mph). Engine cranking times out after five seconds. Cruise control will not engage at highway speeds and when in 6th gear. The following enhancements are also included:Improved purge sensor performance. Updated fuel strategy to inhibit spark plug fouling.

  Pentastar Oil Filter Adapter All vehicles equipped with a 3.2L or 3.6L engine; If replacing the Oil Filter Adapter (OFA) due to a leak detected between OFA and block, an O-ring kit (68191356AA) is now available to repair OFA/Block Interface leaks. Using dye will assist in determining source of leak. Ensure OFA Cap Oring is seated in the proper groove in the cap and not damaged or cut. Engineering is seeking information regarding OFA leaks.   Accelerator Pedal Before replacing accelerator pedal, be sure to follow fault code diagnostic procedures in service manual. Make sure to check wiring and connectors. P2122 and P2127 will set if accelerator pedal connector is disconnected during diagnosis. Make sure codes are active before replacing pedal. DTC P2299 is usually caused by a two footed driver and accelerator pedal should not be replaced for this fault.
