  Adaptive Cruise Control Sensor 1) If you are replacing this part due to the cluster displaying Clean Radar Sensor in Front of Vehicle or DTC C1266 ACC Sensor Blinded, please verify that there is no blockage in front of the sensor. Blockage can occur from mud, ice, snow, front end damage, bracket damage, the sensor not attached to the bracket properly or an aftermarket fascia installed. This fault can occur intermittently in muddy or icy/snowy conditions and is considered normal operation. Under some circumstances, a misaligned sensor can also cause the C1266 DTC, please complete an alignment procedure. No replacement is required.~ 2) If you are replacing this part due to the cluster displaying ?ACC/FCW Unavailable Service Required?, please check the DTC fault codes. This will indicate which module needs to be serviced (TCM, PCM, ESP/ABS, etc). This fault is not due to the ACC Sensor. No sensor replacement is required.~ 3) If you have fault code DTC C125E ACC Sensor Adjustment Required, please verify that the radar sensor is fully seated in the clips and there is no damage (if clips are damaged on a 2013 or earlier vehicle, order P/N 68085813A$, otherwise please replace the module), please verify there is no blockage to the sensor due to mud, ice, snow, front end damage, bracket damage or the sensor not attached to the bracket properly. Perform the Vertical Alignment and the Electronic Horizontal Alignments procedure as stated in the service manual. Please note, if the horizontal alignment procedure will not complete, check the vertical alignment and confirm that the sensor is seated properly. Rerun the horizontal alignment procedure. No sensor replacement is required. **Hints for running Horizontal Alignment procedure: A) Verify speed is between 45 and 75 mph, B) verify the road is relatively straight with signs, poles, guard rails, etc C) Do not tail a vehicle too closely this inhibits the learning procedure

The customer satisfaction enhancements are included with this software release. NOTE: After the HFM has been updated it will receive these enhancements: · Reduced ?Device Reading? wait time after connecting a device to the remote USB port. · Call / dial separation improves upon names being recognized as phone numbers. · Improved sound quality during Bluetooth streaming. · Increased iPod and iPhone compatibility. · SMS messaging support via Mobile Application Part (MAP) protocol (not all phones support the MAP protocol). · Added ?None of These? and ?Correction? to the phone book prompt menu for better handling of similar names. · Previous button will return the song currently being played to the beginning of the track. · AirPlay feature ?Dock Connector? no longer needs to be manually selected on Apple devices.   FLASH: MIL Illumination For P0730 And Transmission Shift Enhancements This bulletin involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Transmission Control Module (TCM) with new software. A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation, the technician may find that Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0730 Incorrect Gear Ratio is setting erroneously. In addition to correcting the DTC, the following Transmission Control Module (TCM) calibration improvements are now available. These updates are broken down by vehicle line and engine category.WK, WD, JK and LC Vehicles equipped with a 3.6L engine (Sales Code ERB) Hanging in gear during HOT ambient temperature conditions while vehicle is loaded or towing. Delayed downshift during acceleration at speeds above 48 kph. (Taiwan, Japan, and China market only). Delayed downshift when driving at altitudes higher than 2500 feet. Inconsistent shifting when towing or while driving up or down steep hills. Delayed upshift while driving in 4 low Intermittent delayed shift. Delayed engagement when shifting from drive to reverse while in 4 low. (JK Rubicon only) Delayed shift from second gear while towing or driving on steep grades. (JK Rubicon only) Intermittent delayed engagement from reverse to drive. Less than desired shift quality in AutoStick mode. (LC vehicles only) Fuel economy improvements.   8 Speed Transmission Shift Adaptation, Drive Learn Procedure This bulletin involves performing a Transmission Adaptation Learn procedure based on a subjective shift quality rating evaluation.The adaptation drive learn procedure must be performed on all 8-speed transmissions when the transmission is repaired/replaced and/or the Valve Body/TCU assembly (mechatronic) is replaced, or when the adaptation memory cells are cleared with the wiTECH diagnostic scan tool. Customers may indicate that their transmission shift quality does not meet their expectations.
