The customer may describe damp or wet carpet in either the left/right side or both front footwells. This condition may be due to a sealant void between the cowl plenum lower panel and dash crossmember or the seam behind the wheel well liner allowing water to enter the vehicle interior.All three areas must be checked and repaired.

Flash: 2.4L Powertrain Diagnostic and System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest available software. A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find the following DTCs set in the PCM memory: P1066 - Cylinder 1 Oil Supply Solenoid Valve Switch Off Time Out Of Range. P1068 - Cylinder 2 Oil Supply Solenoid Valve Switch Off Time Out Of Range. P106A - Cylinder 3 Oil Supply Solenoid Valve Switch Off Time Out Of Range. P106C - Cylinder 4 Oil Supply Solenoid Valve Switch Off Time Out Of Range. U1424 - Implausible Engine Torque Signal Received. P1185 - General Pressure Sensor Correlation. P0101 - Mass Air Flow Sensor "A" Circuit Performance. P050D - Cold Start Rough Idle. P0335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit. P2610 - PCM Internal Engine Off Timer Performance. Washer Fluid Level Sensor Prior to replacing this part due to "Low Washer Fluid" tell tale light on the dash and the washer fluid bottle is full, please perform the this inspection. Inspect the sensor for a fluid coating on the sensor pins. Orange colored rain repellant can cause this fluid build-up. Clean the pins, drain the reservoir, and fill with Mopar approved washer fluid. Check to determine if the issue has been resolved. Continue with repair if necessary. Also, please inform the customer not to use Rain-X in the system to avoid this issue.
