Multi-Air Actuator Assembly For 2.4 Tigershark Engine ONLY: When attempting to diagnose P Codes related to the MultiAir Unit, please note that there are multiple causes listed for each in the diagnostic procedure. This procedure must be followed to ensure the correct condition is being addressed. ~ Please verify the following (as listed in the first step in diagnostics) is not present before attempting repair:~ - Low Engine Oil - Incorrect oil filter that does not meet OEM specifications - Oil Dirty or Deteriorated (Lack of scheduled oil changes) - Incorrect Oil Viscosity/Weight - Engine Oil Contaminated (i.e. coolant and/or fuel) - Clogged Oil Galley Screen/Filter (top of block - feeds Multi-Air Unit) If there are any questions please contact: Seth Nankee at cell: (248) 303-5434 [email protected] If no response within 15 minutes, please continue with diagnostics/repair.

Flash: 3.6L Powertrain Diagnostic and System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest available software. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) set in the PCM memory: · **U1424-00 - Implausible Engine Torque Signal Received.** · P0335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit. · U0402 - Implausible Data Received From TCM - (Transmission Control Module). · P0480 - Cooling Fan 1 Control Circuit/Open. In addition, the following software enhancement is available: · Elimination of (disable) Low idle 550 RPM to mitigate rough idle complaints (Base idle fully warm maintained at 648 RPM).

Flash: 2.4L Powertrain Diagnostic and System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest available software. A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find the following DTCs set in the PCM memory: · **P1185 - General Pressure Sensor Correlation.** · P0101 - Mass Air Flow Sensor "A" Circuit Performance. · P050D - Cold Start Rough Idle. · P0335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit. · P2610 - PCM Internal Engine Off Timer Performance. P1607 - PCM Internal Shutdown Timer Rationality. · P0133 - O2 Sensor 1/1 Slow Response. · U0402 - Implausible Data Received From TCM. · U1424 - Implausible Engine Torque Signal Received. · P0456 - EVAP System Small Leak. · P0480 - Cooling Fan 1 Control Circuit/Open. **In addition, software enhancements include: · Improvement to 4-5 upshift.**
