This document will add in advising the dealers to contact TAC with needed information so TAC can review the data to verify that the vehicle need a High Voltage battery and then TAC will release the High voltage battery so the dealer can repair the vehicle for the customer. Also the Administrative Details have the direction for the consultants to be able to follow and handle the case information as it comes in.

Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Codes B3055, B3060, and/or B3935. Technician should not replace any parts for this concern. If unable to duplicate the concern ask if the customer uses any Radio Frequency Identification Devices when the concern is present. Dealer should also direct their customers to the appropriate section in the Owner manuals that references that the device complies.
