After starting the vehicle, the Control Display (CID) right side (split screen) display does not stay on the last selection made by the driver. Within 30 seconds of starting the right side of the display changes by itself to the compass view. Software error (Head Unit NBT-EVO ID5) was introduced with ISTA/P V3.58.0 (16-03-502 I Level).

After a terminal status change, the fault disappears until the next diagnostic session. Do not replace any parts as this will not provide a resolution. This erroneous fault will be eliminated after programming with ISTA/P 3.59.4 (I-Level S15A 16-07-506) or ISTA NEXT 4.01.20 (I levelS15A-16-17-506) or a higher version. ISTA/P 3.59.4 and 4.01.20 have been available since August 2016.

Fault code B7F33C (internal ECU error) is stored in the Telematics control unit (ATM/TCB2). There are 2 known causes for this failure. They are as follows: Software file missing from the ATM/TCB2 control module Water leak at shark-fin leading to corrosion in the ATM/TCB2 control module

The vehicle's rear view mirror integrated universal remote control is incompatible with some garage door (or fence) opener devices installed at the driver's residence and/or business. If the garage door opener was manufactured before 1993, it will not be compatible with any HomeLink device. Installing the compatibility bridge will NOT link these units. This is due to several incompatible frequency's used before 1993.
