UPDATE Technical Bulletin (UPDATE ? 64C7 Window Motors): This update has been proactively released to prevent window(s) entering pinch protection with no obstructions present. The Window "One-touch" does not work properly (window will not go up, or comes down on its own). The production solution for this issue was a New Window Motor design and calibration as of CW35/2012. This document discusses the "Fault Codes" necessary to diagnosis, and potential remedy of the issue. The fault codes for checking warranty coverage for servicing the vehicle are also available.

Technical Bulletin (Window Enters Pinch Protection with No Obstructions Present): Customer may complain front window(s) will not go up all the way without entering pinch protection or they may have to hold the button continuously to get the window to close. Due to installation tolerances and window motor deficiencies, it is possible the window regulator motor may have excessive resistance causing pinch protection to activate. The production solution to this issue is Revised window regulator motor and optimized window regulator installation procedures.

Tech Tips (Radio Inoperative After UPDATE 91J7 SD Card Software Update): If radio is inoperative after performing UPDATE 91J7, start by checking the current software level of the radio. Software level may have changed during update, so software level must be checked again after update has failed. If radio cannot be reached in Vehicle self-diagnosis, software level can be checked by running GFF and printing or saving diagnostic log. Software level location on GFF log is highlighted in this document.
