  TSB: Some 2018 ? 2022 model year Toyota vehicles equipped with a Premium Audio with Dynamic Navigation System, require a Special Service Tool (SST) USB flash drive to update the map, points of interest, and system software. The SST is used with applicable vehicles to deliver the update, however, the process for generating license keys differs from previous generations. Before attempting to perform a map update, the expiration date of the dynamic subscription (stored in the head unit), must be checked. If the expiration date has not passed, a license key may be generated without the purchase of an activation card number (ACN). Updating the map without the use of an ACN is considered an Embedded Navigation Update (refer to pg. 10) and performing this update does not extend the subscription to dynamic map services. If the subscription period has expired, or is expiring within the next 90 days, it should be recommended to the customer to purchase an ACN. Utilizing an ACN, will initiate the Dynamic Navigation Update (refer to pg. 4). This Dynamic Navigation Update will perform the embedded navigation update and provide dynamic map services for a period of two years from the date that the Dynamic Navigation Update is performed. ACNs are provided in a pamphlet available through the normal parts ordering system

Some 2020 model year vehicles equipped with Audio Plus (version 1035) or Premium Audio (version 1035) or earlier may exhibit one or both of the following conditions: ?Abnormal screen play while using Apple CarPlay® (primarily during phone calls). ?Poor sound quality during phone calls while using Apple CarPlay®. Some 2020 model year vehicles equipped with Audio Plus (version 1047) or Premium Audio (version 1047) or earlier may exhibit one or more of the following conditions: ?USB audio does not resume after ignition cycle. ?Intermittent rebooting. ?Bluetooth disconnecting during a phone call when using Apple CarPlay®. ?Intermittent screen freezing. ?Navigation intermittently will not boot up. ?Home Screen Audio widget is blank after a Destination Assist call. ?Song, artist, or album data missing. ?Abnormal clock operation. ?Apple CarPlay® intermittently inoperative. ?Radio takes a long time to boot up. A software update is now available to address these conditions. Follow the Software Update Procedure in this bulletin to update the software.

  TSB: Some 2005 ? 2022 model year Toyota vehicles that have undergone water intrusion may exhibit a condition in which a musty smell is present. Follow the procedures in this bulletin to remediate the odor and address this condition. The purpose of this service bulletin is to provide general guidelines and procedures for odor remediation. This service bulletin provides a guide on how to prepare the interior of the vehicle prior to an odor remediation being performed, as well as contact information for an approved vendor who will arrange the remediation, and instructions on how to prepare the interior of the vehicle for reassembly once the remediation has been completed. Refer to all model and model year specific Repair Manuals and the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) website for the most up-to-date safety and precautionary guidelines. This service bulletin is to provide a general overview and direction for the odor remediation process.
