The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Juke. The contact stated while driving from a complete stop, she heard an abnormal sound coming from the front driver's side of the vehicle and the vehicle suddenly stopped in the middle of the road. The contact later exited the vehicle and noticed that the front driver's side tire and axle had detached from the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where it was being diagnosed. The vehicle was repaired. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 106,000.

AIR BAGS
The contact owned a 2013 Nissan Juke. The contact stated that while driving approximately 5 MPH, the front driver-side steering airbag was inadvertently deployed. The air bag emitted black smoke, a chemical substance, fractured her watch off from her wrist due to the impact, and the steering wheel seized. As a result, the driver lost control of the vehicle and crash into a second parked vehicle. During the crash, the driver sustained injuries to the upper left leg and left hand, neck, left shoulder, and torso injuries along with a left forearm laceration and chemical burning from the air bag deployment. A police report was taken at the scene and the vehicle was towed away. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer was notified of the incident. The local dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 84,000.

Make a right turn into a parking and the drivers front wheel popped off. The car was undriveable and it separated the front and side fenders. If this happen on the expressway someone who be badly injured

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Car was running, no prior issues. Shut off car, returned a few hours later and it would not start. Everything else worked, but wouldn't attempt to turn over. Was -18 at night with my young kids in rural nowhere. Came back next day with tow, and it started. Replaced cruise and brake module per suggestions. Ran fine for another few weeks, then repeated the issue. Replaced battery with AGM battery. Started. Next day it happened again, once I got to work. Towed it home. Reprogramed keys. Nothing. Replaced starter. A few days later it started. After a month, it sputtered out after starting, then would not start (inside garage). Later that day, it started. Inspected by Nissan and various mechanics. No warning lights. Ran diagnostics and nothing. I absolutely hate the unpredictability but like my vehicle, but not enough to leave my kids and I stranded; especially in the cold winter.

The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Juke. The contact stated that while stopped at a sign or while driving at low speeds, the vehicle stalled. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer and was diagnosed that the timing chain had a hole in the cover. Additionally, there was a massive oil leak. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and the contact was made aware of diagnostic trouble codes: P0300, P0114, and engine misfire. The manufacturer was notified of the failure however, no additional assistance was provided. The approximate failure mileage was 10,581.

Car has just 45,000 miles on engine. Purchased new from Pohanka Nissan in Salisbury MD 2013. Now has Turbo charger failure. Lost power suddenly on Highway traveling 60 mph. Taken to Nissan dealer who states that a nut backed off of the fan in the turbo charger causing damage not only to the turbo charger, but to two of the engine cylinders. Seems unreasonable that this could occur in the absence of a mechanical error during construction of the car. No prior engine problems. Car is essentially totaled as repair will cost more than the car cost new.

POWER TRAIN
The car started to lose power while driving with the cruise control engaged, the odometer revved up from 2 RPM to 6 RPM then the speedometer started to descend from 75 MPH to 60MPH without the cruise control being disengaged. Luckily no drivers were behind me as I started trying to brake and pull over to the side of the road. There wasn't any indication that something was wrong on the dashboard, not one warning light. I proceeded to check the diagnostics with my micro mechanic, which gave me a code that the Torque converter was the problem. The dealership ran a diagnostic test and determined that the transmission needed to be replaced.

The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Juke. The contact stated that after starting the vehicle, there was an abnormal gasoline odor detected. The contact smelled of gasoline odor coming through the air vents when the air condition was activated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on two separate occasions. The first time the vehicle was taken to the dealer, the dealer was unable to determine the cause of the failure and the vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer after the failure recurred and diagnosed as a leak in the fuel pressure sensor. The fuel pressure sensor was replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but informed the contact that due to the age of the vehicle, no assistance would be provided. The failure mileage was 21,556.

THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 149,500.

PULLED MY CAR OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY ONTO THE STREET WHEN THE LEFT FRONT WHEEL FELL OFF AND THE FRONT OF THE CAR CRASHED TO THE GROUND.. HAD THE CAR TOWED TO DEALER, THE DIAGNOSIS-BALL JOINT CONTROL ARMS AND AXLE. 1900.00 WORTH OF REPAIRS. ONLY TAKEN TO DEALER FOR SERVICE. LAST TAKEN TO DEALER FEB 2020 FOR 4 NEW TIRES. THE CAR HAS 42000 MILES. THANK GOD I WASN'T ON THE EXPRESSWAY TRAVELING AT 65MPH. THIS IS DEFINITELY A LIFE SAFETY PROBLEM. CONTACTED NISSAN CORPORATE AND LODGED A COMPLAINT. THUS CAR WAS BOUGHT NEW IN 2013. I HAD NO PRIOR WARNING OF ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR

NO LIGHTS SHOW, THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE DOESN'T INDICATE IT'S OVER HEATING. MULTIPLE MECHANICS CAN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT SINCE NO CODE IS SHOWN WHEN THEY SCAN THE CAR.

MY 2013 JUKE SL BROKE DOWN WHILE I WAS DRIVING. THE CAR SLOWED DOWN AND THEN CAME TO A STOP AND WOULDN'T START. IT WAS TOWED TO A NISSAN SERVICE DEALERSHIP. THEY FOUND THAT THE ENGINE TIMING CHAIN BROKE AND DAMAGED MY ENGINE. I WAITED WEEKS TO HEAR BACK FROM NISSAN CORPORATE OFFICE. THEY WILL DO NOTHING. I BOUGHT THE CAR BRAND NEW AND DOESN'T HAVE 60,000 MILES ON IT. THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP WILL GIVE ME 500.00 FOR TRADE IN. 2011-2013 JUKES HAVE HAD THIS FAULTY TIMING CHAIN. I CAN'T BELIEVE NISSAN WON'T DO ANYTHING FOR ME.

CAR HAS 64000 MILES AND WHILE IT WAS DRIVEN THE TIMING CHAIN BROKE AND BENT THE VALVES . I CALLED NISSAN AND THERE IS NO RECALL EVEN THERE IS TOO MANY COMPLAINTS LIKE MINE .NEW ENGINE $5000. WHERE IS THE QUALITY NISSAN USED TO HAVE . WITH THIS AND CVT TRANSMISSION ISSUES YOU NEED THINK TWICE AND MAY BE SWITCH TO HYUNDAI OR KIA ,AT LEAST THEY HAVE 100000 MILES BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY.

MY CAR AFTER 80,000 MILES STARTED TO HAVE SEVERE ENGINE AND DRIVING ISSUES. I WAS IN A CONSTRUCTION ZONE ON A HIGHWAY WITH THE SPEED LIMIT OF 75MPH AND MY TRANSMISSION STARTED TO ACT UP. I WAS LOW ON GAS SO I FILLED IT UP AND WHEN I START BACK ON THE HIGHWAY IT WOULD GAIN NO SPEED AND THE RPM'S WOULD SHOOT UP TO 6. I ROAD ON THIS ROAD FOR ABOUT 15-20 MINUTES AT 35-50 MILES PER HOUR UNTIL I COULD FIND AND EXIT AND A SIDE ROAD TO GET ME TO A SAFE STOPPING POINT. I HAD TO SHUT MY CAR OFF TWO TIME DURING THE DURATION AND BOTH TIMES THERE WASN'T A SHOULDER SO I WAS IN THE GRASS. IT WAS INCREDIBLY UNSAFE, AND I FOUND OUT TWO OF MY BEST FRIENDS HAD THIS SAME EXACT THING HAPPEN WITH THEIR CAR. SINCE THEY HAVE QUIT MAKING THIS CAR AND I HAVE FOUND MOST OF THE MODELS MADE HAVE RECALLS, I FIND IT IRRESPONSIBLE TO NOT INFORM EVERYONE THAT HAS PURCHASED THIS CAR OF POTENTIAL ISSUES. I AM A 23 YEARS OLD WOMEN AND IT IS REMARKABLY UNSAFE TO THINK I HAVE A RELIABLE CARE THAT OUT OF NO WHERE BREAKS DOWN, AFTER I HAVE DONE MY DUE DILIGENCE TO KEEP IT IN THE BEST SHAPE. *TR

IT IS BEYOND AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN WHEN YOU WERE ON AN INTERSTATE FREEWAY IN YOUR CAR GOES FROM 70 MILES AN HOUR DOWN TO 30 OR 40 AND WILL BARELY GO OVER THAT YOU CAN BARELY EVEN GET OFF THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WITHOUT GETTING RUN OVER BY MAJOR HUGE TRUCKS IT IS A TOTAL SAFETY PROBLEM AND IT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. I WENT OUTSIDE TO START MY CAR TO WARM IT UP, I LIVE IN MICHIGAN AND THIS HAPPENED DURING WINTER SO IT WAS BETWEEN 15-25 DEGREES THAT NIGHT. I CLOSED THE DOOR AFTER I GOT OUT OF MY STATIONARY VEHICLE, AND THE SUNROOF SHATTERED. I DID NOT CLOSE IT HARD, I DO NOT SLAM MY CAR DOORS. THERE WAS NO CHIPS OR CRACKS IN THE SUNROOF PREVIOUS TO IT SHATTERING. I READ ONLINE ABOUT NISSAN HAVING A RECALL FOR THEIR SUNROOFS IN ANOTHER VEHICLE, SOMETHING ABOUT FAULTY GLASS TEMPERMENT AND/OR THEY USED A THINNER GLASS TO SAVE MONEY.
