SummaryExpiration Notification - Halogen Headlamp Voluntary Service Campaign ***** Dealer Announcement ***** On March 25, 2022 Nissan launched a Voluntary Service Campaign on certain MY2013-2018 Nissan Altima vehicles with halogen headlamps dimming due to delamination to support the settlement approved by the court presiding over the class action lawsuit. Customers that obtained approval by the Settlement Administrator were included in this VSC. Dealers were to inspect for delamination and, if necessary, replace both the right and left Halogen Headlamps. This customer service campaign and customer reimbursement for these repairs are no longer available under PC861. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Service Comm will deactivate PC861 on any VINs that have not yet been inspected and/or repaired on September 23, 2022. 2. For vehicles that had halogen headlamp inspection under PC861 between May 20, 2022 and September 23, 2022, were diagnosed with no good (NG) condition but the repair was not completed due to parts not yet available will move to campaign ID PC890. a. For vehicles that had halogen headlamp inspection before May 20, 2022, were diagnosed with a no good (NG) condition and a dealer was not able to make claim, please email [email protected] for claim processing support. 3. VINs will be noted with PC890 in Service Comm/NSH to allow future headlamp replacement as parts become available. 4. Dealers should use NTB22-039 to correct any vehicles subject to PC890. 5. Once repaired, dealers should submit the claim, using the appropriate claims coding provided for the action taken, and release the vehicle.

The announcement from May 20, 2022 has been revised to include the following changes: Nissan has experienced an unexpected high volume of dealer orders for headlamp assemblies during this campaign. Nissan continues to work expeditiously with the supplier to improve the supply schedule in effort to fulfill DBS orders as quickly as possible. However, headlamp parts supply continues to be very limited for the foreseeable future. Nissan is requesting dealer support to reduce the impact across the network and ensure our customers are taken care of. Nissan is requesting dealers to review their current open parts orders, and is offering a limited opportunity to 1) cancel unnecessary orders and 2) return excess parts in dealer inventory. In the review, please consider future orders, as parts 26060-3TA90 & 26010-3TA9A will not be returnable (J-coded) after October 21, 2022. Nissan reserves the right to make changes to part returns at any time and is subject to change. Customers that have obtained approval by the Settlement Administrator are included in this VSC. Dealers will inspect for delamination and, if necessary, replace both the right and left Halogen Headlamps. Customers not covered by the terms of the limited Warranty Extension, covered by a basic or parts warranty have until March 26, 2022 to apply for replacement opportunity by completing a Claim Form and submitting to the Settlement Administrator the appropriate Claim Form by the deadline. Upon approval, the Class Vehicle is to be taken to an Authorized Nissan Dealer no later than September 23, 2022. Nissan will provide a one-time diagnosis and a potential repair of approved vehicles from March 28, 2022 to September 23, 2022 under the Voluntary Service Campaign. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaigns I.D. PC861. ï§ Refer to NPSB15-460 for additional information 2. SummaryOxygen Sensor Voltage Inspection Warranty Extension Dealer Announcement: In the interest of customer satisfaction, Nissan is providing a limited warranty extension to certain MY2013-2016 Nissan Altima 2.5L (SULEV and 50 states emissions) and certain MY2013-2016 Nissan Sentra vehicles (50 states only) to allow for annual rear oxygen sensor voltage checks, upon request, to determine if a rear oxygen sensor short-to-ground condition exists. If a rear oxygen sensor short-to ground condition exists, Nissan will inspect and repair or replace, as necessary, the sensor or wiring and remedy any diagnostic trouble codes that may have been masked by a failure to detect a possible rear oxygen (O2) sensor short to ground (SCG) condition. If those DTCs are first found only after a short-to-ground repair, the Limited Emission Warranty extension will cover the costs of parts and labor to inspect and repair the corresponding issue(s). Affected vehicles may fail to detect the rear oxygen (O2) sensor short circuit to ground (SCG). Undetected SCG may result in failure to pass emissions testing. Owners of eligible vehicles will receive a notification indicating their eligibility for the following: â¢Annual rear oxygen sensory voltage check during the extended warranty coverage â¢Limited warranty extension for the rear oxygen sensor to 20 years/200,000 miles (whichever occurs first) What Dealers Should Do: 1.Verify if vehicles are eligible for this limited Warranty Extension using the warranty extension page of Service Comm. 2.Dealers should perform a voltage check and, if necessary, remedy any eligible vehicles subject to this warranty extension to ensure customer satisfaction using NTB22-007. 3.The service department should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action(s) performed.
