SummarySome customers may complain of a shift shock felt when shifting into 3rd, 5th and/or R range with no A/T related DTC stored. The symptom can be temporarily repaired by A/T initial learning procedure, but may recur after multiple driving cycles. Applicable situations: ï· Shifting up: 2-3, (4-5) ï· Shifting down: 4-3, (6-5) NOTE:(4-5) and (6-5) are felt more than others due to the gear ratio. ï· Shifting into R: D-R, N-R, P-R. Improper control logic of the TCM may cause improper learning of R-3-5 brake engaging speed during certain driving situations. To correct this concern, the control logic of the TCM has been modified.

However, it is still important to remind customers about these precautions. Customers should never use inadequate, harsh or aggressive cleaning products on plastic parts. CAUTION: Be aware that when cleaning the brand emblem, never use cleaning products that are highly acidic/alkaline detergent, organic solvents or those with aggressive chemical products, otherwise, the brand emblem may become cracked and/or deformed (as shown in the example below). Always refer customers to the ownerâÂÂs manual for proper cleaning using cold or lukewarm water and a mild, neutral detergent.

SummarySome vehicles may exhibit a groan noise from the front brakes when braking at a very low speed (approximately 6 mph / 10 km/h). This may be caused by a brake torque variation at that speed due to an inappropriate machining process of the brake disc surface. Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.

SummarySome customers may complain that their seat warmers or seat ventilation do not turn on when the engine is restarted after being left on when turning off the engine. The logic has changed from previous Mazdas where the seat warmers and seat ventilation automatically turned on when the engine was restarted. NOTE: Customers in cold weather are more likely to complain about this if their vehicle is equipped with Mazda Mobile Start (MMS) (not available on Mazda3 or CX-30) because the MMS accessory instructions state the seat warmers WILL turn on when the engine is restarted. The same can happen in the hotter weather with the seat ventilation. This information is incorrect for these vehicles. Both features will now require a manual setting every time the vehicles are restarted after being turned off. Consult the vehicleâÂÂs ownerâÂÂs manual for more details on proper seat warmer/seat ventilation operation.

SummarySome vehicles may experience the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON with DTC P2610 and P2507 stored in memory after engine start and room fuse 15A (A) removed.ï· P2610:00: Instrument cluster internal engine off timer performance problem ï· P2507:00: PCM battery voltage low input. As a past malfunction, the customer will not notice it (no warning light illuminated), but the DTC may be found during a vehicle service. P2507 in this situation is only applicable on 2016 and later models. This is caused by the engine being started 3 or more times after a short duration of engine off (less than 15 seconds) with the room fused removed. NOTE: The odometer will display âÂÂF0-002â during transport mode (room fuse 15A removed). Transport mode is canceled when room fuse 15A is installed or the vehicle odometer is more than 12.4mi (20km).Vehicles in dealer inventory with this concern should be repaired using the following repair procedure.
