It is critical for technicians to be aware that ALL such locking fasteners, regardless of type, are for ?one time use? only.

SummaryPITSTOP: NAVIGATION HEAD UNIT REPLACEMENT - This article provides information regarding navigation head unit replacement on 2015 - 2017MY Soul EV (PS EV), 2016 - 2017MY K900 (KH), and 2017MY Optima Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV). It is important to note that the head units in these vehicles contain a modem and should NOT be swapped between vehicles under any circumstances. Swapping a head unit from one vehicle to another may result in a non-operational UVO eServices on one of the vehicles. If a head unit needs to be replaced, the factory recommendation is to always order a replacement head unit to ensure proper eServices operations using the new installed/replaced head unit.

SummaryPITSTOP: HVAC VENTILATION LOGIC OPERATION - Starting with 14MY Soul (PS) (with the exception of PSEV) and complete new models such as K900 (KH), Sedona (YP), Sorento (UMa), Optima (JFa), Sportage (QL), and 17MY Forte (YD, YDm), etc., equipped with a sunroof, a ventilation logic has been applied in order to prevent exhaust gases flowing into the vehicle due to the pressure difference (inside vs outside) that is generated when driving with the sunroof open. This logic allows the system to automatically switch from RECIRCULATION to FRESH mode when the sunroof is open.

THIS IS DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT MAY BE IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE ALL METAL CONTAMINANTS FROM THE RECEIVER/DRYER DURING THE A/C FLUSHING PROCEDURE. REFER TO THE INCLUDED TABLE FOR DETAILED INFORMATION ON COMPONENT REPLACEMENT BY MODEL. IF YOU SUSPECT A PLUGGED EXPANSION VALVE, THE INLET SCREENS CAN BE CLEANED. IF THE VALVE IS NOT EQUIPPED WITH AN INLET SCREEN AND IS RESTRICTED, THE EXPANSION VALVE MAY ALSO NEED TO BE REPLACED.
