Flash: Powertrain Diagnostic And System Enhancements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest available software. A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find the following DTCs set in the PCM memory: U1424 - Implausible Engine Torque Signal Received (2017 MY 3.0L and 3.6L Only). P2681 - Engine Coolant Bypass Valve Control Circuit Open (3.6L Only). P0335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit. P2299-00 - Brake Pedal Position/Accelerator Pedal Position Incompatible. B23C3 - Stop/Start Disable Switch 1/2 Correlation (3.0L and 3.6L Only). In addition, customers may experience the following conditions: A shorter auxiliary battery life. An illuminated Automatic Oil Change Indication (AOCI) light (3.6L Only). Other enhancements included in this update: Improved knock sensor performance.

Washer Fluid Level Sensor Prior to replacing this part due to "Low Washer Fluid" tell tale light on the dash and the washer fluid bottle is full, please perform the this inspection. Inspect the sensor for a fluid coating on the sensor pins. Orange colored rain repellant can cause this fluid build-up. Clean the pins, drain the reservoir, and fill with Mopar approved washer fluid. Check to determine if the issue has been resolved. Continue with repair if necessary. Also, please inform the customer not to use Rain-X in the system to avoid this issue. TPM Sensor 2016 WK/WD vehicles only - Engineering is investigating a Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) issue for TPM lamp ON and Active diagnostic trouble codes C1501-31, C1502-31, C1503-31, C1504-31. 2015 & 2016 TPM Sensors ARE NOT interchangeable.~ As part of normal diagnostics tool # 9936 TPM-RKE Analyzer can be used to wirelessly retrieve TPM sensor data and aid you in diagnosing. The tool filters data by year and body style. Be sure to update the tool to Software Version 16.01 and check for updates periodically. Vehicles and new TPM info is added several times a year. Updates are available through TechCONNECT home page; Service Tools & Equipment; Tire Pressure Monitor Tool; Software Downloads. ~ Prior to replacing any components on MY16 WK/WD vehicles, please contact Raja Charabuddi on cell (248) 202-7313 or Brian Malski on cell (248) 892-1514. MY16 RA3 & RA4 Replacement Radios All MY16 RA3 and RA4 replacement radios must be ordered through the exchange process at United Radio. DO NOT order a NEW radio from Mopar. Go back and order a "Z" level part number. (example: Z8249986A$) The MY16 replacement radios must be reconfigured by United Radio to the wireless network provider in order for Uconnect Apps to work properly.
