A partially blocked vent collar port can compromise the vehicle's emission control system, potentially causing the vehicle to release excess air pollutants.

Inspection and Remedy

Owner notification letters regarding this campaign will be mailed starting July 7, 2023. These letters will include a Q&A guide to help owners understand the campaign. For owners in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington, a completely filled-out "Proof of Correction Card" must be provided upon completion of the campaign. This card may be required for vehicle registration renewal in these specific states. Owners should ensure they receive this card from their dealer if they reside in one of these states.
