Door Belt Outside Weatherstrip (Sorento MQ4a)

1. Inspect all four door belt outside weatherstrips for loose fitment.
2. Apply upward pressure to each weatherstrip to confirm it's securely attached. If secure, no further action is needed.
3. If a weatherstrip is loose, attempt to clip it down onto the door. If it still does not secure, the weatherstrip must be replaced. Replacement involves referring to specific repair procedures in the Kia Global Information System (KGIS) shop manual for front or rear door weatherstrips.

Windshield Garnish (Sorento MQ4a)

1. Inspect both front windshield garnish moldings (left and right) for loose fitment. If secure, no further action is needed.
2. If a molding is loose, attempt to secure it by hitting it down with a closed fist. If it still does not secure, the molding must be replaced. Replacement requires using a trim tool to remove the old molding.
3. Install the new windshield garnish trim by first inserting the bottom section, then clipping the top trim clips using a closed fist, working from top to bottom to secure all clips.

For any part replacement, technicians are required to attach photos of the old (NG) part(s) to the warranty claim.
