Conversely, technicians must "Do not allow the charging voltage to climb above 13.5 volts" to prevent potential issues. If the flash process is "interrupted/aborted," it is essential that the flash be restarted from the beginning to ensure proper module programming.

Repair Procedure Details

This bulletin involves updating the Radio Frequency Hub Module (RFHM) with the latest available software to prevent "unauthorized keyfob programming." The repair procedure is primarily a software flash:

1. Reprogram the RFHM with the latest available software using the wiTECH Diagnostic Application. Should any issues arise during the module flashing process, a ticket should be submitted to the Helpdesk, which can be accessed within the wiTECH Help menu.
2. After the software update is complete, turn the vehicle ignition to the run position (engine off), wait for five seconds, and then clear all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). The wiTECH application will automatically present all DTCs after the flash, allowing them to be cleared efficiently.

For vehicles in the SA market only, it is important to note that after applying TSB 08-231-25, it is "not necessary to send DID-I or DID-A."
