Symptoms

Owners of affected 2021-2024 Stellantis vehicles, including the Jeep Wrangler Uconnect Box Error models, may observe a "Uconnect Box Requires Service" message appearing on the radio screen when the vehicle starts. This message, sometimes displayed as "Uconnect Box Error" or "Uconnect Box requires service. Please visit an authorized dealer.", will remain on the screen until the ignition is turned off or the customer manually closes the popup. Technicians using wiTECH diagnostic tools may find one or more active or stored Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) related to the cellular antenna or USB communication.

Diagnosis and Trigger Conditions
