2. Checking for any delay in pressure increase or if the actual pressure fails to reach the desired level.
3. If a delay or insufficient pressure is observed, a screenshot or PDF printout of the injection ramp pressure loss failure is captured.
4. Measuring the fuel pressure of the low-pressure line with a gauge. If this pressure is between 5.2 and 6.0 bar, but the rail pressure does not follow the desired pressure, the injection system cleaning procedure is recommended. If the low-pressure line is below 5.2 bar, it indicates a different issue with the low-pressure pump, and this TSB does not apply.

Repair Procedure Summary

5. Re-evaluation: Monitor fuel pressure again with wiTECH. If the high-pressure fuel pump still does not deliver the desired pressure, proceed to the replacement procedure.

High-Pressure Fuel Pump Replacement Procedure
